rejecting `followers` is just as unproductive as desiring them!, just the other side of the coin. There is a sense in which what others think of you is `non of your business`. I was a `follower` of a guru for years, but for me (and I guess others) it was part of the growing process, neither good or bad. Certainly no body was able to `talk me out of it`, I had to learn for myself, but if that is the senario that is presenting itself there must be certain lessons to learn about it.
