I was invisible from in the Oblivion gates if the ball you have to take to destroy the gate is enchanted with Chamelion you can enchant your clothes to make your self invisible. When I got up to 25% enchantment I just duplicated the ball.
Tutorial: Talk to other members, they tell you of secret entrance, gather lots of lockpicks.
Got to fort using secret entrance, sneak past or kill woman patrolling, steal her key, open locked door, walk across to other side with Rodrick on the balcony, while the others are talking swap the potions and then go half way down the left set of stairs.
Wait an hour, sneak the same way back out, complete mission.
all u need is the eye of scithyis it will help u spot life 20 ft away the tiger dude in the DB that sells spells sells it 4 around 900-1000 its a constant effect and worth the money
@Seguris I don't think so... If you go back to Fort Farragut where Lucien inhabited you might find her there... Or him. I'm not sure of the horse's gender lol. I read in an Oblivion Wiki article about horses that horses will go back to where you bought/stole/found them if you get a new horse or something. :)

this guide helped me thanks i watched it like half way said stfu me no cheating so i continued and i just did what you did except i bought 200 lockpicks and used invisiblity potions :D it works awsomely i loves it cant wait for whodunit :D
@XBagerXbox i got to into the thieves guild ofcorse and i went to any of the doyens or w/e there called and like every 3 or 4 days (in game lol) and bought each 100 each from i think like 3 of them so :D
I rememer I tried to sneak through the fort but there was an Oblivion Gate and all the daedra that came up was pursuing me, luring the bandits and all the quick&quiet mission failed :D
If anyone wants to know a way to get a free horse just complete the mission where you take *SPOILER* martin to meet jauffre just fast travel back and steal a weynon priory horse or prior maborels and there you go a free horse

@Prettyflyboyanims When you push one of the pin's up and if it falls back down REALLY quick you know the next time you push the pin up is when you lock it in place without breaking your pick. Its pretty simple after practice

Although I ran into the back of someone. They didn't see me, I took out my Shadowhunt bow and strung an arrow and killed her. Then I had to kill another person but nobody saw me.
this mission was pretty easy for me. I have the Gray Cowl (Gray Fox mask) which offers Detect Life from over 100 feet away. I'm also a vampire so my agility is slightly increased which made this mission simple and quick. Nice video man.

Oh my goodness guys, this is the easiest thing in the world, do all the mage guilds recomdations and get open easy lock. go to the arcane university make the spell open very hard lock, and badabing, no more lock picks and easy intrusion,
the best source of lockpicks are fences, i seem to remember for 600 gold you can buy 100 lockpicks, a very good deal if you are good at lockpicking like me ;)
I made my guy born under the shadow, so I had 60 seconds of invisibility per day. I turned invisible, killed the first gaurd in one hit because of the sneak multiplyer, opened the door, then ran back and waited 24 hours. I then turned invisible again and swapped it out in no time haha!

Shady Sam and he can sell you 60 lockpicks or something like that

best thing if your lvl 10 you get 40 security and the skeletan key by doing nocturnal very easy and short aand it never breaks so do auto as long as you like intill it opens

train until you can cast chameleon spells then get grand soul gems that are at grand level and enchant you cloths with chameleon and you will be 100% invisible! works great and it's easy :D
I ended up finding a video for that about 5 minutes after watching this. Works great. I also did the quest to get the skeloton key. So I don't even bother sneaking around. guards don't see me and I don't need lockpicks. It's great.
Every two days go to the waterfront in Imperial City and suck the blood of Puny Ancus while he is asleep, you're taking sun damage because you haven't sucked enough blood. It's important not to lose the bonus because the bonus is almost useless (Deceiver's Finery) but is worth a lot.
Has anyone else noticed that a little north of Fort Sutch the music is glitched. Instead of playing the ususal countryside music, it starts to play the dungeon/cave music, even though your above ground. No where near as creepy as when its played in the caves since its daylight, and well, outside
At first I thought you werent aloud to kill the mercs.
but then I tried it and i succeeded.
plus I was goin down the that leads to his cabinet and turned around saw 2 mercs walkin straight towards me and got scared just shot 2 arrows at em and i RAN to that cabinet lol.
you know those mercs could have walked straight past you without seeing you lol. Happens to me all the time because i wear dark clothes, hide in the shadows and dont move. Most of the time, the enemies walk into me, pushing past me but dont see me (lol?)
Ocheeva didn't even give me the poison when I did this quest and it was too late when I realized it... So, I had to kill the dude "the old fashion way."
When i did this quest, i killed every single f*cking one of the mercs and no one detected me. I received my bonus and wonder'd: when all his mercs are dead, who gave him his fake medicine? Weird.
Sure. As long as no one detects you. So if you kill them with one shot (i love poisons d-:) and no one else saw you, you still get the bounty. Just don't kill Roderic-Dude.
im a lvl 4 thief, but i got turned into a vampire so when ever i trie to do this quest i have to do it at night becase i cant be in sunlight so ia am dong the quest for the cure
the bonus you get isnt that great. I managed to find the "robe of glib tongues" in random loot, which i believe has a better bonus than the decievers finery. Not as cool name though lol
good guide. they have become really helpful to me but for this one i didnt use the second half. i just left the way i came in, it seemed much easier and i got it first try
Is there any way to bypass this quest because I know there are a lot of glitches in the game that can allow you to jump ahead of the storyline of a faction if you complete future quests early, like killing someone ahead of time in teh dark brotherhood. Is that possible for this quest because due to my crappy loading I can't complete the quest.

Does anyone have any loading problems on their xbox game. Mine refuses to load the area a few feet past the Cross Inn. So I can't ride my horse out to the fort. My game doesn't load the landscape so I fall of the map. Does anyone know how to fix this problem or how to get into that part of the landscape without the main entrance.
There's an exit or entrance that leads through a water passage,I went there by mistake and found it easier exit or entrance access.You can see the entrance of it at 8:26 where he crouched into the door way,no guards and it's a lock pick able passage.
Haha, yeah horses are stupid. I can't decide wether or not to become Listener, simply because I don't want Shadowmere... She'll just get in the way. I have 128 Athletics, 125 Speed, 120 Agility and 125 Acrobatics so I really don't need a horse. :))
the area around fort sutch is weird. If you go a tiny bit east of the fort, it starts to play the dungeon music, despite the fact you are above ground

Every two days go to the waterfront in Imperial City and suck the blood of Puny Ancus while he is asleep, you're taking sun damage because you haven't sucked enough blood. It's important not to lose the bonus because the bonus is almost useless (Deceiver's Finery) but is worth a lot.

Has anyone else noticed that a little north of Fort Sutch the music is glitched. Instead of playing the ususal countryside music, it starts to play the dungeon/cave music, even though your above ground. No where near as creepy as when its played in the caves since its daylight, and well, outside

plus I was goin down the that leads to his cabinet and turned around saw 2 mercs walkin straight towards me and got scared just shot 2 arrows at em and i RAN to that cabinet lol.

you know those mercs could have walked straight past you without seeing you lol. Happens to me all the time because i wear dark clothes, hide in the shadows and dont move. Most of the time, the enemies walk into me, pushing past me but dont see me (lol?)

Ocheeva didn't even give me the poison when I did this quest and it was too late when I realized it... So, I had to kill the dude "the old fashion way."

When i did this quest, i killed every single f*cking one of the mercs and no one detected me. I received my bonus and wonder'd: when all his mercs are dead, who gave him his fake medicine? Weird.

Sure. As long as no one detects you. So if you kill them with one shot (i love poisons d-:) and no one else saw you, you still get the bounty. Just don't kill Roderic-Dude.

the bonus you get isnt that great. I managed to find the "robe of glib tongues" in random loot, which i believe has a better bonus than the decievers finery. Not as cool name though lol

Is there any way to bypass this quest because I know there are a lot of glitches in the game that can allow you to jump ahead of the storyline of a faction if you complete future quests early, like killing someone ahead of time in teh dark brotherhood. Is that possible for this quest because due to my crappy loading I can't complete the quest.

Does anyone have any loading problems on their xbox game. Mine refuses to load the area a few feet past the Cross Inn. So I can't ride my horse out to the fort. My game doesn't load the landscape so I fall of the map. Does anyone know how to fix this problem or how to get into that part of the landscape without the main entrance.

There's an exit or entrance that leads through a water passage,I went there by mistake and found it easier exit or entrance access.You can see the entrance of it at 8:26 where he crouched into the door way,no guards and it's a lock pick able passage.

the area around fort sutch is weird. If you go a tiny bit east of the fort, it starts to play the dungeon music, despite the fact you are above ground
