I'm sorry, how exactly does she "diss" him? She goes on to say that our metrics of success and failure show increased casualties, which are also incremental. It was a polite way of saying that she knew Petraeus was more or less bullied into this war by the past administration, and under immense pressure for giving signs of success, (think "Mission Accomplished"). She is not attemptying to bully him, only asking what he knows so far as establishing an objective standard of success in Iraq.

It seems insane to me that Hilary would have to odasity to speak to Petraeus in this manner. He is one of the greatest generals our country has had. He has dedicated his life to this.

I might add that Hilary originally supported the Iraq Resolution which supported use of force in Iraq, just for the heck of it.
