  • looking for one of these as a project.... message me.

  • @mostly4moderate

It's actually very easy to land, the problem is that it doesn't like to quit flying. Also, it's difficult to tell when it's landed, due to the very long shocks.

  • SWEET!!! Where can you get plans or blueprints for that plane. I'd consider building one.....

  • @Landotter1

I don't know if you can build one from plans, but if you want a project, you could consider restoring a wrecked one.

  • @Landotter1 cant be that difficult to biuld from scratch for average builder! I´ll do it!

  • How does the pilot see?

  • @ouchyfoot

He looks in front of him. The pilot is on the

left side, not right in the middle.

  • Any idea how many are still airworthy?

    Sweet old plane

  • @peckerwood57

According to the FAA, there are 75 in the US, but I don't know how many are airworthy.

  • Beautiful little aeroplane. I want one :)

  • That was pretty. Thank you for posting it and preserving our aviation history- greatly appreciated. Chris Dean

  • That plane floats like mad even when it's calm. This particular day had a good crosswind.

  • Got into some ground cushiony effects seems like- looks like a fair wind hugging the ground. Easy enough to land, C3s are just soooo very light.
