It's actually very easy to land, the problem is that it doesn't like to quit flying. Also, it's difficult to tell when it's landed, due to the very long shocks.

SWEET!!! Where can you get plans or blueprints for that plane. I'd consider building one.....

I don't know if you can build one from plans, but if you want a project, you could consider restoring a wrecked one.
@Landotter1 cant be that difficult to biuld from scratch for average builder! I´ll do it!

left side, not right in the middle.
Any idea how many are still airworthy?

According to the FAA, there are 75 in the US, but I don't know how many are airworthy.

That plane floats like mad even when it's calm. This particular day had a good crosswind.

Got into some ground cushiony effects seems like- looks like a fair wind hugging the ground. Easy enough to land, C3s are just soooo very light.
