@LTechApple a tethered jailbreak means that everytime you turn off your device, then turn it back on. it wont turn on (it'll just be an apple logo) until you hook it up to your computer, put it into DFU mode, and click "Just Boot" in redsn0w. Fortunately, iOS 5.0.1 has an untethered jailbreak. Where you can reboot the device without having to hook it up to redsn0w it'll boot normally. But the untethered jailbreak only works for iOS 5.0.1, NOT 5.0. Hope this helps
