Yet being the 'monkey in the middle' is actually something I really love aout Ken as much as I too pitty him for it. Because it shows his friendly nature.
great to know it's not just me! lol. and yeah no matter what way you look at it rin leaving was alway going to happen. And add the fact that Dai-chan is good at holding grudges and if offended easily and you've got this whole years long situation. I find it funny how Ken's always the monkey in the middle.
@sboone2008: Yeh I also feel a lot of it was just DA and his amazing grudge holding ability!! Poor Ken...still that's what he gets for being so affable!!
It seems my phone is messy up my comments now that I actually check on a computer. Sorry if it's all confusing. And my Christmas was nice thank you! Glad yours was too.
@sboone2008: Lol I know exactly what you mean! There are days I comment back from my I-pod only to realise auto-correct has been at a sentence after I've posted it and turned it to gibberish!!!
Ken not having a Twitter greatly annoys me. And if it did happen no one would probably ever know. But seems unlikley because of Dai's strength to hold a grudge and he was more mad at Ken then Rin. But tha is something I could see Ken doing! I bet he'd instantly go back to talking with Dai too.
@sboone2008: I think DA and Ken was always more buddy buddy than DA and Rin so Ken's 'betrayal' is going to have stung a great deal more! Also from what I've read along the way Rin leaving Iceman was pretty slow burn no matter how it seems, while Ken's choice to come back to music was pretty bolt out of the blue so there's shock value there as well!!
Looking forward to the sentences! And boy do I know. My Shi and Tsu still come out the exact same when I write them my So and N a little different but that could be the font...Font can be such a messy thing in Japanese! Never know if it's right...
@sboone2008: Lol yep, indeed I'm already plotting a discussion on sentence particals this week!! I keep thinking I'm there and then I'll start reading something and suddenly be all "hang on is that 'so' or 'n'" because there really does seem no way to distinguish those two at all...I mean tsu and shi are at least written slightly differently (tsu has it's little dots up top and shi has them at the bottom) but those two...that language I swear...
I'll be sure to infest in a few of those and of course the one suggested. I'm actuallly really looking forward to it as I'm all into Justice and philosophy. So amazing tha their actually talking again! Now the da Ken and Dai talk will be a miracle. Oh and how was your Christmas?
@sboone2008: Dai and Ken talking just seems like something that's going to happen quitely behind the scenes without anyone actually ever knowing being as the Ito doen't actually have a twitter feed!! Still mentally I'm all "oooh Ken so made Rin talk to Dai again, the softy" despite Rin being surrounded by many other's who know DA!! It was utterly amazing and really Christmasy!! How about you???
And about Sherlock. I like various different similarities to Sherlock but wierdly enough never Sherlock Holmes in particular. But it does sound very interesting so I think I will read up on it! After all books are always better! It's no wonder they messed up TV versions.
@sboone2008: I'd definatly say that if you love how the analitical parts of series such as CSI work then the stories are definatly up your alley! Plus most are more like mini stories than actual whole novels so you can dip in bascially anywhere in canon, though it's probably best to make the first read 'A study in scarlett' as that sets up the main characters as well as Watson and Sherlock's friendship which is the back bone of everything else!
I had a miny freak out when I saw Rin and Dai talking on Twitter! Though I only know now what they were saying. I could only make out about 30% with the google translator. Oh and awesome tha you used my advice! I'll be sure to write down this japanese word info!
@sboone2008: Rin was basically telling Dai that someone had told him about the doggy dying and how sorry he was for his loss. Dai responded with a gentle thanks and to agree that it'd been a while since they'd talked last.
Basically so very sort of matter of fact and adorable!
Lol it was good advice and I'm so heading towards entire sentences with this I can tell!!

Bring on the sentences lol! I'm sure it will lead to it. Katakana is hard for me too, I don't see why all those strokes are nearly identical.
