He skates around overly aggressive defencemen and uses his speed/agility to score on sorry ass goalies. Pussy? Rather have a pussy on my team who scores, than a roided up grunt who can't hold the puck for more than 3 seconds. Is Semin perfect? No. But he's definitely a top 10 forward.

@ymember3 Semin had more takeaways than Crosby. 61 to 43. Crosby had 77 giveaways. Semin had 58. And a better +/-. Just 'cause you wanted just ONE stat where Semin was better at.
Don't get me wrong, I like them both. Both amazing talents. They're two different kinds of player though, so why compare?
Backstrom and Crosby make for a better comparison but even then it's hard to do.

Savard has some great stats, and watch out for stamkos this year, along with Cros, and Tavares. I think that in the points column you will always find a lot of Russians. Canada has more rounded players.
