@Dalmenco ---only on the flesh...(.it' will be your turn before you realize.) Has'nt taken a toll on their passion for what they do, looks shouldnt even matter.
@Dalmenco ---btw ...use a nice voice when you read my former message , I wasnt being bitchy, I was being philosophical , trust me when I tell you , one day you look around and it's another decade!
Many years ago I was at work in a supervisor's office with 3 or 4 other folks (for reasons I don't recall), and we were there standing together when this song came over a tiny clock radio on a desk that was right there before us. I could tell that we were all moved by how sweet and beautiful it was, though no one said anything.
2006 Hollywood Bowl, took the stage and said "hope you aren't in a hurry because we brought a shit load of music to play". This song was off the intermission and was absolutely magical.
@PocoPortillo It wasn't Young and Crosby who had the epic ego battles but Stills and Crosby. All four of them could act like prima donnas. Nash was perhaps the most easy going and peace loving but even he got his back up at times.
I once saw a documentary on C,S.N &Y. At times Neil Young was always trying to get them to do recordings or gigs and Crosby was to always to stoned or not interested. It was probably more frustration on Neil Young's part to go solo...could you imagine the back up vocals of Crosby and Nash on the Harvest album?
Don't whine for these guys. I grew up when these guys were big. Yes they are getting old, like all of us. But also, they've lived full lives, made the kind of music they wanted and became successful celebrities at it. And they lasted when so many burned out. And most of all...they have very few regrets I bet. That's all you can expect out of life
it's upsetting to watch these videos where C,S,N, and especially Y are all so up there in age. to me, being young, they symbolize such vibrant young energy. To see them so old is upsetting because it seems as if they're being cheated by time, that it's sucking the life out of them and i dread the day i hear on the radio that neil or stephan dies. It's not just music like this that doesn't exist anymore, it's a stretch to find PEOPLE that exist like these guys have.
I know the day will come when we lose Graham Nash.... and on that day I will bawl my eyes out. Let's cherish the music for ever and these fellows while there is still time. That goes for our relatives and friends too.
I couldn't agree more! Not only for the lyrical poetry but the beauty of CSNY's sound and legendary harmonies make it a true work of art for all generations past, present and future.
Hey Sweetie, I am a 54 year old woman who has seen Neil in concert countless times..also when he was with crosby, stills and nash...Those were the freakin days..He is still young to me...Even if he is old...He will always be young..Take care now!!!...
i'm 50 and i have sung a lot of his song, too bad his voice is too high for my baritone but i sure entertain myself singing his song. Neil Young is one of my influence as a performer and a guitar player. like most of the guys my age in my country
i'm lucky, i've seen Neil 3 times here in Italy, last it was in spring of 2009 in Milan, a solo concert. Great evening, Neil he's one of the most impressive live performance in the history of rock.
CNY formulate a different musical elixir without the S. It's too bad that for whatever reason the three didn't get together more often, and this video is precious because of silver hair and golden hearts refined.
to kizzlivetourjajei:XDD Thanks you for your lovely message. It was so nice to see that there are still people out there that actually care about others. Bless you daisy 56
The music itself, great just....great, well done guys, how many of new artist r we gonna see mature like these guys, thank you for everything...great!!!!!CSNY!!!!!!!!
We all find the prize in the music in many ways, but I for one, would never consider severing a limb. Keep feeling the music, but don't forget, it gets twice as hard to clik your mouse when you are missing half of your fingers!!!!!

I'm glad to see Neil Young and David Crosby sing together again. No doubt their age may have brought some wisdom to a reconciliation or amends.
C,S,N &Y gave us great songs to live and love by.

I'm also 54. In 1974, I saw the "Reunion" tour of CSN&Y. in Chicago. Magical.
I also saw the "reunion" tour of CSN when David Crosby got out of jail - forget the year.
Those were the days....
If you get the chance to see any incarnation of this band - don't even think of passing it up.
After all, we're not *that* old..... *g*
