  • The Red sea was a mistranslation, it was actually the sea of reeds that the hebrews crossed over, so they would've been actually acrossing marshlands of the Nile or a lake instead of the Red sea.

  • @HistoryLover1550: The Sea of Reeds was just another name for the Red Sea. Are you doubting that God parted the Red Sea? It was a sea obviously, or else He would not have swallowed the entire army of the Egyptians in the water.

  • @TheDrummerDude17 I didn't say I doubted God parted the sea. I was just giving a fact that I've heard from Biblical scholaras, Rabbis, and Historians. Ever since a kid I've always believed the Red sea was where the Hebrews crossed and i still want to go there someday just to see it and stand on a significant spot of biblical history.

  • @HistoryLover1550: Ok, I see what you mean. But even if it was a mistranslation, I don't think God would allow anything that was mistranslated into the Bible. If it was wrong, God would make them correct it.

  • @TheDrummerDude17 I agree with you on that.

  • @TheDrummerDude17 how is "god" goin to make anyone correct a translation? it wasnt even "god" who chose what books went in the bible. it was constantine at the council of nicea who dictated the parameters within which the christians could operate. constantine, the follower of the sun god mithras whose birthday is on dec 25 and is celebrated by givin pine branches to eachother to ward off evil spirits. yes ur sacred holiday is infact pagan. lets see "god" correct that

  • @tyronic2p0: Of course God chose what books go in the Bible. For example, there are several books in the Old Testament about prophets, and God used them to perform His works. That's why they wrote those books. But without God, they couldn't have written them. Therefore, God chose what was put in the Bible. So, my point is, if anything has been "mistranslated", God would find a way to make us humans find the error and fix it because His word is perfect.

  • @TheDrummerDude17 He did. God knew all this would happen and sent us another messenger after Jesus. His name is Muhammad and God has sent to him through the angel Gabriel, the final revelation to mankind in which he and his companions recorded word for word. It is called the Qur'an and it is purely God's word, with no mistakes, no contradictions.

"This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion". (Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:3)

  • @plastixx: No, I don't think that's what happened. Jesus already died to take away our sins and save us, so why would God need to send someone else? John 3:16 clearly states that in the Bible. It doesn't say Jesus died for our sins, but that wasn't enough. And even if God would have sent someone else, it would be in the Bible, for that is His own perfect Word. God doesn't push religion on you either, so I'm not sure what your scripture is saying. God gives us the choice.

  • @tyronic2p0: 2 Samuel 22:31 says "As for God, His way is perfect; the Lord's Word is flawless...". Now on to the issue of December 25th. There are NO other gods except God Himself. Isaiah 45:5-6 says, "Only I am the LORD! There are no other gods. I have made you strong, though you don't know me. Now everyone from east to west will learn that I am the LORD. No other gods are real." So there you go, "Mithras" was not real. That is why December 25th is called Christmas, Jesus Christ was born.

  • @HistoryLover1550 it was infact the red sea they crossed. if u do ur research instead of listening to what people tell u, ull find there is a natural land bridge that extends across the red sea and when certain tides and winds are just right the land bridge is exposed and dry. plus it leads to the oasis they found with the...7? springs. i cant remember the number. do ur dam research instead of being mindless drones. ur just as blind as the nonbelievers u look down on.

  • @tyronic2p0 First of all, I didn't say I believed the theories I've heard others believe. I was just stating information I heard. I didn't know there's a land bridge stretching across the red sea, thank you for sharing that fact. I am not blind, I just choose to be open to others ideas. I know you shouldn't believe everythiing you hear and read, and when I heard this theory, believe me, I had a hard time accepting it myself.

  • Ramses II's first-born son, Amun-her-kepehsef actually reached adulthood to be historically accurate.

  • @HistoryLover1550 Yes, he should have been 25. His 13th son took the reign. I wish more people were as inquisitive as you.

  • @AZstarwatcher Thank you, I love history and I believe in doing justice to the truth. In the documentary "The Exodus Decoded" Scholars and Historians suggested that the hebrews exodus and the Hyksos expulsion under the reign of Pharaoh Ahmose whose name means "Moses brother" were one and the same event.
