Visual Basic 2008/10 Firefox Web Browser Component (Gecko Fx)

whats the point in creating browsers like ones already out there, because why would someone choose over a progam that looks like firefox (but with less functions) over firefox. Surely the whole point of creating a web browser is creating one that is different and better than ones already out there.

@thijs1359nl Wrong...man GeckoWebBrowser1.Reload() WebBrowser Codes ARE NOT the same as the GeckoWebBrowser Codes !!!

don't know why i tink it's the fork but i use only GeckoWebBrowser1.Reload()

When I want to start the exe after compiling, I get an error-message that the xpcom.dll was not found. Within VB-2010 it works very fine. But after the compilation there is allways this error. I have copied these file allways in the folder of the exe and the errormassage comes too.

How can I compile this project. I get error a message in the ready compiled exe.

@magierfrank expalain a little better but if I understand right, Did you placed the GeckoFx Files in folder where is the exe or u miss something in the code.I will post an example project tomorow or on Friday when i get some time for everybody
