When the percussion comes in at 1:38 I feel a chill run down my spine, everytime without fail. I can honestly say I've watched this video over one hundred times. The sincerity and fragility of his words are something that is missing from music. The guitar solo at the end is the most beautiful and chilling solo I have heard. The instrument can't even keep up with his emotion and his wanting to release it. Bravo Bon Iver.

@TheMarsdenLees For everyone who likes this. In 2010, Bon Iver has put out an mp3-album with his Eau Claire high school band in Wisconsin. It's amazing. The only drawback is that Blood Bank is not on this. But "Flume" and "Emma" are breathtaking. If you search for "A decade with the duke" on itunes or amazon you will get it (purple cover, 7 or 8 songs).
