First of all everything is biased. Second, yes any group of people can tailor a scene to display the worst of the worst. What do you think happens to men of color who are consistently criminalized and racialized as being "dangerous"? what do you think happens when black womyn are constantly racialized as being angry and violent and uneducated? white privilege is something that can be contested by white people alone becasue they have the luxury of ignoring it.

n even if white males are discriminated agaist.. that makes 1 to our what a thousand... honestly i do not think it is fair to lower the standards for us blacks... if we do what we do to get in.. then we deserve that spot... however if we Piss off our education y should they bust their butts to put us in... but trust me white males are not the only ones discriminated against..black females are as well

I think it's safe to say most minorities & females are discriminated against. Although I haven't directly felt discrimination towards myself I know the numbers that are out there and see the people in high positions.

I went to a mostly white high school and it was hard for me to prove that i was capable of keeping up with the students of the majority... i was a straight A student an scored a 32 on my ACt. but i was told that the odds of me getting into to college where not that good. if i were white with my 3.8 GPA and 32 ACt score where would i be

I call bullshit. Any black with those scores can get into college. Not necessarily into a hyper competative ivy league school, but easily into a state U. As it is schools actively "reach down" to get blacks with poor scores in, not just ignorant jocks either.
It's a fact that 40% of blacks drop out of HS. there's nothing anybody can do to help those fools.
Discrimination against whites males happens frequently.

Magical power you have to overcome racial discrimination? Are you kidding? You are the discriminating force which is why you don't see the social power you have. Are you also a masongonist? There are still statistical figures that show white males earn well more than any other ethnicity in the united states. Let's not even talk about women, who still to this day have a glass cieling, which I wonder who propogates. I think we both know the answer to that.

You should have had two students apply at a college and showed the non-white getting an extra 20 points towards their admission score. (which also happens to be the same amount of points awarded to an individual with a perfect ACT score)
I think that would have been much more realistic, and easier to quantify.

maybe you should take the class and voice those opinions, that way you can learn what White Privilege truly is. These situations go both ways but non-whites dont have the social power to overcome it.

You bring up asians, but do you know anything about their culture. In their culture failure is seen as a blemish upon the family unit and that person is then disowned. You ask about asians having social power, but you're statement lacks coherency. It's always easy for a white male to make such statements because they have never been at the discriminating end of the spectrum.
