In 1906 Macy's department store sold a folding container that had a vial of liquid cocaine and one of heroin. It included a syringe. For 4 dollars. It was promoted for women who suffered the "vapors" or known now as depression.
1830 was the first recorded year that people had "gas" parties. They would tape the doors and windows of a room and release the gas.. Nitrous Oxide.
@mycatslistentome interesting stories. not horribly surprising though--just goes to show that drugs will never leave humanity. so i say pick your poisons, but be picky about it. shop around
We can shop all we want but we will still come back to "our drug of choice"
Mine was alcohol but not just any alcohol. It had to be vodka. I loved screwdrivers although i didn't like orange juice, ice, or a glass. And who needs to save the cap on the bottle. Alcohol is a drug. If it came in powder someone would snort, smoke or shoot it.
Oh I don't know just why It gets you so high Putting a buzz in you heart You'll do a marathon You'll wanna go on Kickin' the ceilin' apart They call it wacky dust It's something you can't trust And in the end the rhythm will stop When it does, then you'll drop From happy wacky dust
