Unfortunately, the game's events were ultimately erased from history. As a result, Solaris (and consequently Mephiles) has ceased to exist, meaning that we're still stuck with that pushover, Dr. Eggman. Now THAT was a huge mistake on SEGA's part.

Here's what annoyed me about this boss. The premise that they couldnt defeat Solaris was "that he existed in the past, present, and future, and attacking it in one zone would do nothing".

Why couldn't that be implemented? Use Silver to send objects into the past for Shadow to deal with, then have a bit of a mini fight with Sonic to damage, and it could repeat?
