A few of these people need to get a life. I wouldn't really call it "fun", but I did it once. Laid down a Yam TZ-350 at 190 mph trying to dive into a turn to fast at Daytona. I let the bike go, laid back and slid it out like you saw these guys doing. Totalled a new set of leathers, but I got up and walked away from it. Not even a bruise. It WAS kinda fun, in a way, AFTER it was over and I thought about what I'd just done.

That reminds me of an auto racing show I saw where they said that the bigger a crash a looks, the safer it usually is...because all the flipping and extra motion allows the car to slow down gradually, whereas a simple slam into a wall concentrates all the force into a single impact.
