This is an awesome movie, One that I can never forget, see too I have a disability, I was injured during the Gulf War, I got shot and now I'm a paraplegic. USMC
I've always been depressed I could never find this movie online. (Well, without Netflix, at least.) This is one of the greatest movies I've ever seen, and we will never forget it - or, to be exact, never forget Art. :D I think the most ironic part is that we actually stumbled upon this movie by accident, which made the quotes even easier to remember C=
Art Honeyman was an incredible man. He wasa beautiful writer...an amazing artist...and he could DANCE so beautifully. I was honestly an honor to know him. He always had something to say that was worth taking the time to slow down and listen to, and he was patient enough to repeat it.
i love this movie, and it seems like Art is the main character, since he IS the insperation for what he is writing. I LOVE this movie. I am autistic, so i am only slightly handicapped, but it affects my daily life a lot. I have a friend with CP, so i understand all the troubles we go through. I can only slightly hear what he says, but he IS the coolest person I know. Look past the handicap, see who's inside.

Yeah man I don't have it as bad as some people do, but I can totally relate to the whole getting ridiculed just because your different, or feeling so frustrated because you know you have so much to speak out about and you can't do it because your body won't react at the same time your brain does, I can talk to my self fine, or have conversations in my head perfectly, but sometimes I try to talk to someone and it kicks in oh well have to deal with it I'll post up the track when I'm done
I too have CP and sometimes I really get down not about being the way I am..... I am at a point in my life where I don't mind being this way... I actually would prefer it I think. This is part of my identity now and I wouldn't take a magic pill for anyone... But I worry that all the potential that I feel and others see within me will never be realised. I will just be this person who is over educated but incapable of anything else

I have CP, not as much as Art does but totally understand what he went through. I am a beneficary of their toil and I am forever grateful.
