@dimka7779 haha!!! I hope I did this right, but I think you said "good song" and I will totally agree with you it is a good song and I'm glad you liked it!
I've been trucking 21 years now... and can't imagine doing anything else!! I don't think I could function in an office with a boss up my butt and all the office politics.
@grinder869 i know what you mean...i myself have been doing it since late 95 and can do anything 'almost' anything but like you said a boss breathing down your neck everyday would be tough to get used to...and i would more than likely end up chasing the sun again so might as well stay doing what i do best...TRUCKIN!!
@okietrucker1´pienso igual yo lo llevo en mis venas soy la tercera generacion d una familia camionera me encanta conducir soy muy feliz lo mejor es k no tengo un jefe k este justo a lado dando ordenes, and let me tell you something that s a great song
Started in 1969, 40 years--started out pulling a flatbed, then dry box--then heavy hauled.--Then I woke up and the last 35 years pulled doubles, triples and twin long boxes. Retired, collecting my pension and SS----$5520.00 a month. Trucking sure changed in the last 40 years, we went from trucks that could run the numbers off the speedo to companies that thought 65 MPH is all we could handle----then complained when we ran out of hours. I miss the trucks, not today's BS
@grinder869 I'm doing the same from another continent. I average 1800 miles per trip, but many have taken me a lot further. In Australia there's a specialised kind of operator called hotshot freight. When somebody can't wait the usual 2-3 days for their cargo, they call us, to get it there in half the time. Legally, but quick. Literally been all over Australia for my job. Been through fire, ice, snow, floods and a lot of mine sites
@grinder869 Brother Ive been riding around on a motorcycle across 4 states, roaming like a nomad and living reckless, pup tent on the back of the bike. And thought to myself 'hell, I WILL drive the hell outta this shit.' Signed up for school last week.Gettin 'nomad' tatted this weekend.
I am so ready to roll outta the tristate area you would not believe.
@grinder869 HAHAHA-- DID 8 damn years in Army, and am a General Sales Manager at a car dealership! TODAY--- I JUST got my class A license with airbrakes and the full deal!! Who you drive for? whats the best companys to go with!? I am ready to get back on the road again-- I was a MOTOR SARGEANT! Use to running these things through Afghanistan.. but NO explosives on the routes will be a NICE cange in pase.. ;)
@dern881 I thought about quiting once...but thats as far as it got...haha! It has made my family and I a good living but for every good there is some bad, like not being at home at 5 oclock and the kids getting a foot taller every time you get back off of a run. But this is the life I know and the life I chose and love...good luck to you and remember...if it is in your blood, you wont be happy until your back behind the wheel, smelling diesel and hearing the rubber whine...
@okietrucker1 Once? I thought about quitting almost daily but every time I went home I wanted to go back. I gave up OTR a while ago and went "Local" Regional which gets me great time at home but as good as that is I miss the open road at times. Watching this vid and listening to this song is one of those times.
Keep on truckin' but don't sniff too much of that diesel, it's not good for ya.
Sweet nice video.

the younger generation does not appreciate a shinny crome finish on their cars and trucks they keep painting over the bumpers and grill.
