the best way to beat this if this is the first planet you went to is to follow the instructions for the first part then when the 2nd stage begins simply tell your followers to attack her and then follow up with your own attacks, make sure to heal them/yourself as necessary

what i did was i got kaiden to use nueral shock on the first assario then autmatically started up my carnage ability

then i waited a likkke2 seconds for the second one to come into view then when they were clusteredf together i shot them while they were near the fusion cell it blew up then i moved on to the geth

i remember on my first play through, i chose this planet first.

I was in for a ride, died like 10 times.

then i just got pissed off used adrenaline, ran up to her face and shotgunned her untill she dropped then sent my teammates to handle the baddies down while i shot with my pistol.

YYYYYYEEEEESSSSS I just defeated this bitch, my tactic was to put that armour upgrade on that regenerates health and hiding behind the wall where you first enter, do this for the second bunch of them the first just shoot them as quick as possible, the last ones you should stay behind the room benezia is in.

This Bitch is easy compared to the Boss fight at the end of Mass Effect 2 on Insanity cause not only do you have to defeat that, but the standard light enemies you fight morph into the worlds biggest pain in the ass firing biotics at you like an MG.

I didn't really find her hard, but she IS the one that actually makes you use cover. Saren fights are of course much easier, the Thorian area drives me nuts when using certain classes.
