I've lived with HH all my life so i know the sheer hell it can be. I just thought id share this little secret with you all as it has been a life saver for me! They sell AHC on a site called ScrubsUK.com ive been ordering from them for months and i have to say that this tiny product makes all the difference
I am the only person i know who suffers from this and iv never met anyone with it, so thanks to all these videos i now feel a bit better knowing im not the only one. I think we should all get together and give each other a big sweaty handshake LOL
Its not nice when people say eeewww youve got sweaty hands and they look at you as if its something dirty, like you're not clean. Iv probably got cleaner hands than most because im constantly washing my hands and rinsing theem in cold water as i find this helps temporarily. I sweat in other parts of my body too and it can be so uncomfortable. It has definatley affected me socially and mentally.
I have suffered with this for over 20 years and i find it bothers me most when meeting new people, i am single and when i meet a man and he wants to hold hands its a nightmare. I do the same, i try to give them a quick wipe before or i try avoid it. I find that men think that im not interested cos i dont want to hold hands. I also am that worried about what people might think and therefore i cant relax and be myself around them. This has been the bain of my life for such a long time.
my hands just start sweating when you said you had to shake 3 people's hand.. i also have hyperhidrosis and i miss alot of Very good opportunities coz of my sweaty hands and feet.. =(
handshakes were my most feared interaction. My feet still sweat and I'm still subconscious about it, but my hands and armpits are unable to sweat since my HH surgery. I'd say to go for the surgery in a convienent time for you. I definitely know how stressful these situations are for u. Bottom line, u are a beautiful woman, and i hope the very best for u. I love your attitude.
The first job interview I remember my boss shook my hand and gave me this LOOK and told me to relax. I was so embarrassed. You are so brave for telling them about your HH. That is something that I never would have done, but looking back I wish I would have. I think it is so important to talk about HH and I hope you are able to explain to them, and maybe your students, about the condition. Have you ever considered the surgery? You sweat in the SAME places as I used to b4 I got the surgery.
Thanks for posting this. I think you're real brave to go through this with your head held high. I like your strategy. Keep moving forward.
