Yeah it would be nice to hear a slightly nicer guitar. But for what it's worth, the slightly-out-of-tune style of many instruments is what gives them character and perhaps such is what we see here... Haha but I agree I wish the intonation was a little better.
is old technique used by Aguado also by Carcasi but like everything in this world guitar technique evolved. soooo why don't use something that makes things easier?
becase you don't play 1 string a time but you have to play 2 , with the modern classical technique is harder, the hand is always moving and this is not good for courses instruments because the movement to play this kind of instruments is more accurate than on a classical guitar, the movement is against the soundboard like you want to touch it and than you release it ,so if you don't have a finger that make your hand blocked is quite impossible to play.
I've seen guys doing that, with no finger on the soundboard. is not imposible is even easier... but I respect your opinion.... I do not belive in good technique or bad technique, only in what makes you play. because in the end this is what is important
Your fingers remind me of old paintings I have seen of lute players. The angle in which you hold them when you pluck the strings is very interesting. Thank you for sharing your talent--and nimble fingers!
hello, can anyone tell me the name of the guitar John Williams uses on the recording of Concierto de Aranjuez, I mean the guitar with the structure inside which looks similar to the cells inside a bee nest. Thanks!!!
You play very well, but you need to slow down to be able to keep up with what you're playing, I would love to see you redo this piece at a slower tempo.
This is the original instrument for this piece, huh? Interesting. I'm familiar with one of this instrument's descendants which has kept the paired string timbre but with less strings. It's a folk instrument but it sounds great. Would be interested to see what Cubans would make of the Baroque guitar:
I didn't know Sanz wrote that, WOW its that old...How old is that guitar? Where was it made? Are those nylon strings? Thanks for posting this!! Very cool!
Not bad. Why not play it slower. Before you can play something fast perfectly, you have to be able to play it perfectly at the highest speed you can.And build speed from there.
Ojouzu desu!
I wish I could play my instruments with as much skill. The music was very exciting.

Very interesting. The instrument has a timbre sort of inbetween a modern classical guitar and a cittern.
