Very cool! I was wondering what this was going to consist of and then I realized it was all the different movie openings with him. Really cool. Dalton IS Bond!
If it hadn't been for those damn legal battles, Dalton probably would've had a film in 91. Possibly Goldeneye, possibly not. Either way, it would have been great.
You can tell Goldeneye was supposed to be a Dalton film, just edited a bit for Brosnan, from the feel of it.
Sorry guys, but I loved Brosnan in Goldeneye and Tomorrow Never Dies. But world is not enough was simply boring and Die Another Day was the victim of a horrible director
Sorry I as a big Timothy Dalton and Bond fan I have to say that he was a fantastic Bond (not that you are saying that he wasn't) the script for Living Daylights was really good and Licence to kill is my Favourite Bond film very narrowly beating Goldfinger. I think for bad story lines for a good Bond you only have to Look at Brosnan's stuff after Goldeneye.
You should have done TSWLM!

The second "gunbarrel" with the theme from "For Your Eyes Only" sounds awesome! Timothy Dalton's Bond was definitely underestimated..

yup actually if you look at daniel craigs bond and timothy daltons they go hand in hand.

The GE Gunbarrel music fits Dalton Gunbarrel so perfectly. Just imagine listening and seing that in the cinema in about 1993......

in 1987 my father took me to see this film and I never looked back.
This was a very sophisticated film..

I agree. I thought Goldeneye was awesome. It seemed to me that Brosnan's movies seemed to go downhill after that

I think George Lazenby should never have done any
Sean Connery doing OHMSS as his last one
Roger Moore doing Diamonds are Forever
but Timothy Dalton doing A View to a Kill, it would have made the film more serious and given it that cutting edge Moore didn't provide!
indybond007 5 years ago
i do think Dalton should have started with A View To A Kill also, but i did like Lazenby for OHMSS, it just was a film for Connerys Bond though.

goldeneye and for your eyes only worked well

Ok so the scripts weren't great but I LIKED Dalton as Bond. Pity about the legal battle. Good job here!
