Excellent footage, my friend! These are indeed some spectacular lightning captures and is sort of reminiscent of the powerful electrical storm we had experienced here in Montreal in July 1999, only that was a little more frequent in terms of lightning!

Though Windsor, Ontario is the lightning capital of the nation, London's geographical position is quite conducive to seeing some particularly powerful storms during the late Spring through to early Fall.

i wish i still lived in london. i MISS the thunderstorms. they have real thunderstorms. not like our shitty lil storms we get here in halifax that last all of 5 mins.

That's definitely a spectacular thunderstorm.

Too bad we don't get wild thunderstorms like this often in Western Newfoundland.

I rarely saw a thunderstorm like this when I was living in Nova Scotia.

Let's hope I don't see a storm like this at the 2010 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games in London, Ontario.
