I don't really care what you think of Macs (I know they're not good for the full price and I can't play WoW), but judging people based off their hardware is stupid. I got out of it what I wanted out if it: web browsing, video editing and Garageband (didn't get it for gaming), which, in my opinion, is fucking worth every cent, especially since I haven't gotten a virus yet.

Sure they can give you a free hat or something but Guys, you need to realize, They have all their DLCs free for the PC. (Most of it anyways. Maps and such) And they have a great community. They actually listen and take ideas from the people in it. Unlike game makers that rhyme with "Linfinity Toward" and "DaySmark". The only thing I am expecting from them is Episode 3. In my opinion, games feel BETTER when you pay for them and play them, rather than getting it for free. I feel like I'm getting more out of it.
On another note, I think we got something big from Valve when we bought it. The game itself.
We made a contribution to Valve in trade for an amazing game.
You are asking for more, but you have enough.
With the money Valve has, they can create MORE games for us to enjoy.

I don't really get this... You don't see people demanding free DLC for console titles when they know someone's going to be able to pick up the game used for quite a discount in a few years...

I bought TF2 for about £15 and i have no problem with them making it free, its quite an old game i think about 4 years now so if valve want to make it free then i think the have the uppermost right to. I'm new to the F2P genre, but it seems that if you have a game that's free, the number of noobs and trollers goes up. If you have to pay for a game, people take it more seriously then when it's free (as well as the company).
Just wondering, has anyone, company or otherwise, come up with a system to deal with this negative impact that going F2P has? Has anyone perfected it? Bad communities drive long-term customers away, i.e your best buyers.

I stopped playing TF2 after the game became about the fashion of hats and Macfags came into the equation. Well there were hats before Macfags got the game but no one gave a shit, I seriously joined two random servers and they kicked me because I started killing the plays. Turns out that those servers were dedicated to FUCKING HATS. FUCK HATS AND FUCK MAC USERS CAUSING SERVERS TO BE DEDICATED TO FUCKING FASHION!!!

I don't really care what you think of Macs (I know they're not good for the full price and I can't play WoW), but judging people based off their hardware is stupid. I got out of it what I wanted out if it: web browsing, video editing and Garageband (didn't get it for gaming), which, in my opinion, is fucking worth every cent, especially since I haven't gotten a virus yet.

@RJLupin6 I havent gotten a virus on my pc ever. or malware. Pretty easy to do as long as you avoid Shady stuff like torrents and have a virus scanner.
I do like my ipod touch though, and I think apple is quality but you pay more than its worth for that quality

@RJLupin6 I haven't downloaded a virus either because I'm smart about using computers and the internet. It's really hard to get a virus or malware if you think about it, because you have to accept that item to be downloaded into your software. And I don't think it's worth every cent because you are probably only getting about 500$ out of your PC because you only use it for Internet and music/video editing. And yes, a Mac is a PC (PC stands for Personal Computer- just so you don't bitch about it)

Sure they can give you a free hat or something but Guys, you need to realize, They have all their DLCs free for the PC. (Most of it anyways. Maps and such) And they have a great community. They actually listen and take ideas from the people in it. Unlike game makers that rhyme with "Linfinity Toward" and "DaySmark". The only thing I am expecting from them is Episode 3. But we all know that it is just a fairytale now :)
