it'll run better if they are using the amd neo processor instead of this intel atom.. it's kinda shitty..plus running with windows VISTA on it.. i can't imagine how slow it's gonna be... well atleast i think the SSD version one's gonna be alittle big better.. just a little bit.

Seria un "plus" que la pantalla sea un touchscreen en vez de un joystick en medio del teclado (es algo incomodo) ya que no cuenta con un touchpad. Espero que el Windows Vista pronto pase a la historia ya que he probado el Windows 7 test edition y es mucho mejor.

of course not as fast as one with a dual core or something, but then again, the only reason why its this light, small and silent is because it has a "weak" Atom processor.

you cant really compare them, this is for mobility - yet it should be fast, the booklet is more of a netbook (or as they said it: a space between smartphones and computers).

i agree kinda, but dude, say it nicely. he didnt have to upload the vid for you, and you didnt have to watch it either. such harsh words are hardly called for. and in my experience, showing the ports in a review is always the most boring part~ i already know what a usb/lan/ethernet port looks like, i dont need to see it.

I am kind of wondering though... Have you had a chance to check out the video playback? specifically the youtube HD video playback or any sort of web-based flash?

That's a huuuge point right there and is the main deciding factor between the Vaio P and the Vaio FW390 CTO.

I've got the "old" Sony VAIO FW139E/H and I'll be getting the Sony VAIO P90 for 1800 dollars from Japan. I heard the video playback is horrible on the 1.33 GHZ version but with the 1.86 GHZ, You should be fine.

Hmm. not really in the mood to spend 2g on a portable laptop should be fun but if that's the case I'd just get a FW series as it'd be more powerful for alot less money, at that point I'd deal with the larger size or id buy a TT series

I'll try out the 1.33, and maybe make some tweeks, if I don't like it then I'll just return it and get what I need

hopefully newer drivers will help out as the h264 native decoding for 720p shouldnt be slowed down much

there's always the possibility to overclock it
