@sterlingmcleod9 At some point maybe! Relative soon? Probably not. It's a tough finger picking one... I suggest just using the chords and coming up with a simple strum pattern to start. Listening to the track while playing over it, it really helps!
This video is super helpful and was really easy to learn. I loved how you put the chords, chord fingerings and strum pattern in the description. Also extremely helpful. If you put a vocal recording or sang with it when you went through the whole song, that would be awesome. Thank you! :)
I started this today and have learned pretty quickly, still have more practice to go but these videos are incredibly helpful. Keep this up, you're the best for this, especially since Dallas Green is my inspiration.
@TheSammy019 The chord fingerings are in the description, as well as in the pdf I've posted. Seek and ye shall find. Merry Christmas, and thanks for watching.
Great job man! The this really helped me a lot! The comments you put in made a large difference! You're definitely one of the top "youtube tutorial-ists".
A "save your scissors" tutorial would be cool. I have so much trouble with that song,
Again a wicked tutorial my freind. I think I got the "Waiting" chords nailed last night. Muchos Grasias me old Amigo! If you felt like having a crack at Sensible Heart, Death of Me or Costant Knot it would rad. Peace out from down under my fellow noodle brother!!
@TheMG1MG2 No problem dude. It's all advice I've gotten from previous videos too! Let me know if you suspect a part I can improve on. Thanks for watching.
sorry to be lame but can someone explain what a G1 and G3 chord is? i cant read tabs yet, can somebody just say "1st finger, 2nd fret, 5th string" for example or whatever it is cheers, ive been straining my eyes trying to work it out. great tutorial you have a good persona on cam, very easy to understand you, im just a bit behind with chords!!
@mattyfolksurf24 Thanks for the kind words, I'd love to help out. Have you checked the description? I've listed all the chords there. If your looking how to read them, groove on this. G1: | 3 3 2 0 0 0 | Chords are always read left to right, low to high. This is to say, the furthest left number, in this case a 3, corresponds to your lowest string, or low E (the thick one). That number (again a 3), represents the fret number. The fingerings are generally left up to the player as we all differ.
I love dallas green, and I was wondering if maybe you could do a tutorial for "save your scissors" I know it's an old one but I love it, so I hope you can help me out on this one!
@emjasmin68 It is a great tune. I'll try to get to it eventually, however I'm quite lazy when it comes to this sort of thing. Either way, thanks for watching, and stay tuned!
@royc8 I will Royce! I've finished up college for the summer, and I plan on releasing a new tutorial soon. Also - good to know, I'll put emphasis on this part for next time. Thanks for watching.
@OtherGuy9416 I would love to my friend but lack of time and drive limits me to only a few songs. I recommend checking it out on Ultimate Guitar (dot com) however, there seems to be a very sensible version laid out there. Best of luck, and thanks for watching!
Thanks man you have a great camera personality just wish you would go more in depth with your strumming patterns you do great job reviewing the chords i just feel that if you know the chords that is great but if you cant learn the strum pattern it just really makes it pointless. im not trying to be a dick or judgmental i just feel that you need to put a little more emphasis on strumming i would appreciate it because you do a great job covering city and color,
@hugorocks7 I would like to spend a bit more time on them, but people already get antsy when they see a 12 minute video. I was trying to trim it down further but found it hard to get rid of stuff as it is. Also, I'm trying to teach these patterns as the "building blocks" of your own strum patterns. What you see me do in other videos is from years of tinkering, and that's quite hard to teach. My hope is that you watch this and then apply it to your own patterns. Thanks for watching.
Hi, can you do "What Makes A Man" at some point?
