I've a CV19SS Jet as well. If I need to dry run it, I don't go through the work of disconnecting the drive, I just let a hose run in the "out" of the jet drive. It won't supply any cooling water, but it does keep the wear ring lubricated.
Awesome! I grew up riding in a 73 CV-19 455 Olds. Later it got a big cam, better heads and a different Berkley jet unit from a drag boat. It ran just over 90. These boats have agreat hauls that can run in bi chop. Your jetavator looks cool. I love these boats!

Just roll the tube and hold on it's a blast. Try it some time. Better have your shorts tied though.
