I think this version was recorded at Macon Recordings Studio in Macon Ga for King Records at the early days of Otis' career. I remember Oscar Tony Jr did a version at Macon Recording Studio also.

This IS incredible, because the song itself is so great. BUT it still doesn't top Jerry Butler's renditions. He has at least 3 on YouTube; one when he was quite young and still with the Impressions, another where he's wearing a dark colored suit in the picture, and (probably most recent) one from PBS where he's wearing a black suit with a Nehru collar. It is, by far the most soulful and mellow! Just wish the sound was truer, but it STILL makes me want to scream!
