  • WHERE'S THE LOOP

  • This was PERFECT!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

  • This just confused me...

  • Thank you for explaining it so clearly and slowly! I had bought the boye book that teaches you to knit, and I mastered casting on and knitting, but purling was giving me a fit. Your video was the clearest one, and now I understand completely what I was doing wrong and how to fix it...I can't wait to try purling again later. Thank you once again! :o)

  • thhis didnt hellp what so ever i just need to knowhow to make a freaken scarf

  • Ahh I so did this wrong I forgot how to start it.lol now my scarf is getting smaller.Ahh!

  • thank you!!! i think i understand it! lol but when i first started knitting i went to your vids and i hated you! but now i just love how i understand it now! thank you so much! P.S. our school colors are your nail colors!

  • Help! How to I add a border to the stupid completed stockinette scarf? Its curling up and looks like the thing you use to block the draft on a door...so frustrated

  • Need help. Is there a way to use the basket weave in double knitting? Meaning while one color (pink) knitted the back will be (purple) purled. I just did a baby blanket in this basket weave and watched video about double knitting. Thought it'd be cool to do both at same time. ( the blanket I made was two colors but use both together as one yarn.) Thought it'd be neat to make real checkerboard with both colors and stitches if that make since. Any help would be nice.

  • @audjac That's probably because someone taught her how, just as this video is teaching others how.

  • nice..

  • you can't see properly with the pop up subtitles.

  • @nursepatient Turn them off then.

  • Wow...

    This is intensely interesting.

  • How many rows should I cast on to make a scarf?

  • @GraceAlone71 It depends on the size of needles you're using, the type of yarn you're using and how wide you want your scarf to be.

  • where can I find the pattern that you used?

  • I am knitting a scarf. It's a very pretty peach color! I like the shade of purple on this scarf! Have you finished???

  • you seem to be out of breath.....

  • Excuse me, but I don't know how to make a scarf...not knitting. We all start somewhere

  • How to knit a scarf for beginners and while were doing that we will also learn some basic tips on what you need to know to get started in knitting. Is exactly what she said. She was precise in her introduction to ward off comments like yours. If you are too good for her video then you should have know that straight away.

  • I agree. Who cares about the nails?! I appreciate how slowly and clearly she explains the stitch and that is the point!!!!!!

  • Hi, if you don't mind me asking, what type of yarn are you using? I have watched a lot of your videos and I just love that shade of purple. :) Thanks!

  • Interesting....nice nails :-)

  • She makes me want to paint my nails black..

  • It's a very pretty scarf but how do you started it.

I don't know exactly how to start it.

  • What do you mean? :-?

  • Wonderful

  • Thank you for the video. I'm still a little confused, just because the loops are so small. Maybe use larger needles and yarn?

    Thank you. Very good video.

  • Thanks so much! I can purl now!!!!! Yaaaaaaaay!

  • Thanks!

  • this video is about how to make a scarf. for this series of videos, you have to read the whole title as the content of the videos changes from video to video. if you want to learn how to do a basic knit stitch, look for something that mentions that.

and let's not get too personal, yes? her fingernails are her own. and they aren't even the point of the video.

  • Michelle, we have been looking for you everywhere, we watched the video to cast off, a week ago, then needed more instruction and couldn't find it. You explain everything so easy, we are soooo glad we found you again.

  • thanks for great video!

  • thank you, that's easy now you've shown us!

  • Is she reading from cue cards?

  • thanks

  • wow

    that's really easy

    lol

    thanks!

  • wow thanks
