Thanks Brian- you ought to check around your area at some estate/garage sales for these gems. It is very feasible that someone who purchased a vintage synth in its day left it in its box in the attic. That pianist, for example, then dies with all his loot still at the house. His family certainly does not know what to do with his 303, jupiter, or 909. Go hunt! I know I have. We've gotta unearth all of these treasures.

Hey just out of curiosity.. Does your TB303 drift off time? If so, what adjustment did you make to Logic's seq?

Greetings! The TB-303 is MIDI sync'd with the TR-707. The Tempo is set accordingly in my Logic project window- but in this setup the 707 was not sync'd with the MIDI on my audio interface.

The machines themselves are 100% functional.

Hey man thanks for watching!

The 303 is tricky because when you have low resonance it is pumping out so much bass as compared to a squelchy setting. I like that characteristic- so I don't try to EQ off any of the low end when it's grinding and brapping- or boost the lows when its spitting and screaming. In this video the 303's recorded audio waveform was overdriven and delayed in logic (I know, analog effects soon enough!). Another track with a THICK chorus/reverb is mixed low with the main one.
