my story horror of the daleks is better, i have amy and the doctor travel to a world where daleks are using thalls to ressurect themselves and the dalek prime with the ogrons as the daleks henchmen once again. my daleks have a new shape and design and are much more terrorfying.
@TheHairofTime Well, apparently these new Daleks weren't Moffat's idea, anyway. The Private Eye website just reported that BBC Worldwide pretty much forced Moffat to make multi-colored Daleks and now he's feeling disappointment from the fans. Poof Moffat.
@mowingthefrontlawn I like the new retro Daleks too. They're very intimidating, but I just love the retro and the clever way Moffat plays with time travel. The old Daleks are new again and the new Daleks are old. And they won! First time an enemy of the Doctor wasn't killed off immediately and their threat is out there somewhere still to return again in force. I do hope they won't be back in the finale though. I prefer something new or maybe with a brilliant twist. I trust the Moff.
@viridismonasteriense Daleks have survived twice before in the New Series. But, anyway, I really don't see how the New Paradigm Daleks are more retro than the Time War Daleks. The Time War Daleks were just a bronze version of the design that's been around since 1963. The New Paradigm variation has colors from the 1960s films, but that's it. They're completely different.
The rumor is that we'll have two versions of Cybermen and at least 1 Sontaran by the end of Series 5.
@Jeddoozey Moffat is the producer. Get your 'facst' right. Moffat isn't really to blame either; it was BBC Worldwide who requested the redesign in order to sell new toys.
