When ever you started a new game this was the introduction music. This was also on the map, from the name around Bills home by In Cerulean City.
Bill was a character that managed your pokemon when you stored them. It's like Bill owned a Poke Bank and each Poke Center had an ATM for withdraws and deposits. I got this idea that he was a reference to Bill Gates because it's implied that he's a wealthy inventor, collector and most likely a philanthropist because he helps you for free.
This music reminds me when my game losted its save and when i turned on my GameBoy there was not CONTINUE...only New Game and Options...then i had to make another game and see Oak's face again telling me about the pokemon's aonderfull world for second time...
This world is inhabitated by creatures called Pokémon: *GROAR*. Some people use as pets, some other use them for fights...Myself... I study Pokémon as a profession
this is one of the iconic songs of this game. pokemon pretty much defined my generation growing up, and i wouldnt have it any other way. kids these days have no idea how much their versions of pokemon suck compared to the originals
@blakewilliams13 yeah, and that's cool, but the game means more to us than it does to you becuase you still havn't delevoped a sense of nostalgia yet.
@blakewilliams13 nah, nostalgia is different, when I hear this music, I'm not just reminded about this game, I remember the times from my childhood, old friends I havent seen in years, old pets that I had during that have now passed away. I feel like I'm instantly trasported back to 1998 again when I hear this and I nearly cry because I miss childhood so much. You'll get a sense of nostalgia too, but that doesnt start till your 18 or 19. You're still a kid, you dont have nostalgia.
@blakewilliams13 you'll get nostalgia, just wait man. Your young, go enjoy your last years of childhood it will pass you by quick, and when it ends, you'll want it back.
EPIC, EPIC , EPIC!!!!!!!
