GoPro HD vs. Panasonic SD9 with Century Precision Optics 0.3X fisheye lens

Is the Panasonic fish eye meant to have an RGB split around the edges? Also, the GoPro HD Hero2 has VASTLY improved the white balance and the amount of light the lens allows in. I think it's much better than the Panasonic :)

@Jack9488 lmao stop now, the fisheye is the century, its not rgb split its a reflection of the sun ... or maybe the vig .... the gopro is shit compared to any 3chip camera ... in your case go with a gopro cuz you know nothing ... sorry for being harsh, its just annyoing when people try to talk about stuff they dont know anything about.

The gopro seems to have crappy white balance and is blurry here. I find it weird, because I own one and its amazing!!!!

yes the hd hero naked has the fisheye lens... i just bought it and it is crazy :D

@ChristianToker Im not sure. the only reason im heasitant on buying a go pro hero is that fisheye effect that doesnt look good in a regular non sports/action video

WoW you really dont know how to compare cameras, first you need to find two camera with same settings and categories, then make a video, is like now i will go take video with my Canon HG10 and camera with gopro HD.

That's quite funny - because I think that's go pro has similar picture quality or even better than expensive panasonic (on my 1080p LCD)... so you can compare and finally said: "action camera for 300 bucks has same picture quality as expensive hd camcoder for 900 bucks." Panasonic has maybe better colours (but you can improve Go pro's clips in postprocessing) and wider lens ( but it is more blurry on sides)... Thanks for comparision.

The panasonic looks amazing. But the 2 cameras are in seperarte categories and price ranges. You can't strap that Panasonic to your head lol. Nice vid though!
