Do you use modulation on the delays? What I mean is...Do you use the modulation setting in the Delay itself or do you run your delay through a chorus? And btw sounds great.

Mick, does the basic Axe FX do serial delays? I've watched a few tutorials and read the manual, but don't see that option. Do I need the Ultra? With multi delays? I've been using two delays in series, i.e. 300 into a 450ms for SHFWILF. You do the same? Or you have dual delays on d1/8th and 1/4?

I have no complaints. I am usually not shy to criticize but you've got it nailed. I tend to think that you were Edge's guitar tech because you gotta know what you are doing to be able to nail that fantastic one of a kind sound.

The control foot pedal is midi based, this should open opp possibilities to record a midi track on f.eks. cubase and have cubase run this thing for you with a click track right? (sort of programing your own guiterteck)

Hey i'm totally getting one of these. question about the controller. I know its totally controllable from the floor, just curious, is there a delay or a pop when switching patches? Like can i switch lets say from this sound to a plexi roar while playing live and it is seamless?

@spicbuddha I dont seem to have that problem alot was fixed in firmware upgrades on that topic. Im sure the controller has alot to do with it as well. im using a liquid foot JR right now and i have none of those issues

somtimes but somtimes a different drive blocks different chain path, it all depends on the song These are all very similiar in sound ..kind of a core u2 sound but Edge has many more sounds depending on song

yes any controller will work check my other vids. Right now i use a Liquid foot jr.I have used a FX1 and ground control pro as well in the past

Question: Do you pretty much keep the Vox AC-30 on a pretty neutral setting with treble and a bit of boost as you change patches on the AXE-FX, or do some settings require you to go to the stuff on top of the AC-30?

Thanks...I pretty much leave my ac30 as is. its a custom voiced ac30 rebuilt by psionic audio ( I basically modded a RI ac30 back to JMI specs as close as I could get it) I set it just under breakup.The rest i do with the Axe

Actually for what you get cheap... Seriously you can dump the TC Electronic 2290 and any other delay you are using. The Eventide Eclipse can be sold. For effects of this quality you can pay $2k+ just for one. You get all this and KILLER amp sounds too! Pod doesn't even come close.

Im either changing preset with an All Access FX1 or Im bringing in a string sound using an exp pedal so you can see the midi active as the Axe is recieving midi messages while i move my exp pedal

Thanks. If you're interested, check out the TC Nova Delay - a new one from TC. It's pretty much a 2290 in a pedal and has 9 presets. I love it. I love it so much I got rid of all of my other delay units because it just kicks so much ass.
