Yes, that's when they first started chipping the brains of *babies* and communicating with the chips via satellite (see Norbert Weiner, Cybernetics, 1946). The chips they are actually using today are nano-sized, and can be delivered through food, water, injections, etc. I suspect just about everyone in the Western world has already been chipped.

FYI- RFID devices have reliability issues. Strong RF fields(10+ Watt)@ close proximity, microwave energy, HV (like contact taser), EMP's, for sure. Maybe HV generated by static. Also they won't work if metal shielded, ie. in a metal box, wrapped w/ tinfoil. Also can be jammed with transmitters at appropriate frequencies. Google these things for more info. If the system isn't reliable, it will be hard to implement/use. So you might want to avoid these things to keep your RFID working properly.}-)
