But what I noticed in zooming in on the document, and taking a look at what has stood out for me the most, is that at the part on the left where it looks like it is a 'punch out' or where it is curving in, the type curves with the paper, but the green graphics don't. It is a 'flat layer'.

When you work with Acrobat to create a PDF, you are going to have distortions, you are going to have artifacts, and then to go and take it back into Illustrator, you are now going on 3rd pass graphics (1st :original scan, 2nd :converting it to a PDF, 3rd : converting it into Illustrator) and you are going to have dropped pixels and data. I am a Graphic Artist and when you deal with converting over many formats, stuff like this happens naturally

Any PDF you scan will be separated into layers. Notice the white ghosting? That's because there isn't a solid background image layer. The black text was extracted during the scan. You might know how to use an outdated version of Illustrator, but you obviously don't know how scanning software works.

I do think the idiot who scanned this document had optimized scanned it, which would explain the separate layers and the white pixels around the type. I did use a JPEG analyzer and it came up positive for manipulated image, but that could mean the image was cropped or re-sized so the verdict is still out on this one.....I don't know anymore and I could care less. I thought the Certificate was legit until I saw a video of someone open it up on Adobe Illustrator. I downloaded it immediately and opened it.....low and behold it's a fraud! This PDF is a fucking joke, any Photoshop amateur could've crapped this out in 2 seconds. I work with Photoshop and Illustrator for my career and I laughed as soon as I opened this piece of shit up! The person who made this certificate didn't flatten the layers OR mask it was altered by using online image scanners....
