Yes it was very funny -- I was almost in-deared to Trotsky for his fight scene alone, but then I study history and found him in contempt of humanity, as was Stalin, and as was Lenin. Of course "debate" is closed in communist society, because in a constant revolution "ferriting out discent" (like the Patriot Act) is an every day job!
One must be cautious when demanding people give up their "free-will" for the will of a "comrade."
You realize that Trotsky took a position which was the exact opposite of "democratic communism", "direct democracy", and "workers councils" during the trade union debate? And played a major role in suppressing uprisings which were for what you advocate (Kronstadt, Makhno, etc)
Trotsky and Stalin are two sides of the same coin.
