These neo-pagans have largely made up their own rituals, despite their claims of ancient provenance. Nothing wrong with that, just don't be decieved that it has anything to do with Shaminism as it was practiced in ancient times, or in fact as it is practiced in tribal cultures today. @desdes24 Witches Don't belong to any specific Religion, There are Witches that are Wiccan, Pagan, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, even Christian. They can pray to whatever god or goddess they'd like to. I also first doubted this stuff was real about two years ago. Then I started reading more and more about it, I eventually tried some of it, I've experienced a few things so far, It is very real, But you have to take a lot of time to study it. Buddhists don't exclusively pray to Guanyin. Guanyin is actually a Buddhist recreation of the Chinese Goddess Quan Yin. In Buddhism she's considered a Bhodisattva, which is their equivalent of a saint, not like Jesus at all. Different sects of Buddhism have various Bodhisattvas, and some have none. In the end, Buddhism is as much a collection of ideas as a formal religion.

Paganism isn't the worship of any one set god. Much like Buddhism it's a collection, not a single thing.
