  • Hi Thanks for your comments. The best racket for you will be the Voltric 70. The Voltric 80 is more like the Arm Power 900.

  • Hello there, nice review!!

The only minus i can give is the shorter grip than the older armortecs....

My favorite racket is the armortec 900 technique, do you which voltric replaces my racket the best or do you think there will be a voltric 90 maybe??

  • I've tried AT700 3U and felt it quite heavy for me, can u please recommend for me a racket with stiffness about 7/10 (1 for super flexible - 10 for super stiff), head heavy balance, and weight just like this Voltric 70 4U (in this video)... my friend told me that kind of rackets like i said are : Lining N90 Woods, Victor Metoer X 70, Victor Brave Sword 11, AT700 4U... I still dont have chances to try them yet...

  • Hi, Andy thinks that the Voltric 70 will be ideally suited to you. It will give you that extra help defending but you will still be able to generate lots of power.

  • Hello Maurice, I play with armortec 700 and was thinking about changing to a voltric 70 or a arcsaber 10.i'm one offensive player and playing very fast. I also think that armortec not giving me too much motion to defend and would need some assistance in this area to easily defend shots. I have to take into consideration that i play with a grip g4 and arcsaber would equal grip, but only voltric can arrange in g3- u2 ,but i do not know if involved in any area like the power of the smashes. thanks

  • How can you be more a defensive/offence player - that makes you an all-round player!

  • hi, for what kind of players would you recommend the voltric 80?

  • @davidpxn We have a review of the Yonex voltric 80 coming soon. I would recommend it for aggressive players with a fast arm speed. The racket rewards smashing, however if your arm speed is not fast enough you could find yourself on the back foot during points.

  • hi, i need a new racket but i don't know if i should buy arcsaber 10 or voltric 70. I'm more a defensive/offensive player and i have averige wrist power. Could you help me?

  • @davidpxn the arcsaber 10 and voltric 70 are very different frames. The Arcsaber 10 is only suitable if you have a fast arm speed. If you are not confident your arm speed is fast enough I would try the Voltric 70. The 70 is surprisingly manoeuvrable for a head heavy badminton racket.

  • @MauriceRobinsonSport Thanks, I appreciate that.

  • hello maurice, you could give me some advice? I'm a player intermediate / advanced badminton player, I had two 700 armortek until last Saturday I break one racket during the tournament. walk some time with the idea of buying arcsaber z slash, but I'm caught between arcsaber z slash, arcsaber 10,voltric 70 and Li Ning n90. I would appreciate your help

  • @lilwaynme The Z Slash and Arc 10 are very stiff and the Arc 10 in particular is only suitable if you have a fast arm speed (They offer more control). If you are used to the Arm 700, and are looking for a direct replacement then go for the Voltric 70. The n90 II from Li Ning is also good however not as lightweight and manoeuvrable as the Voltric 70.

  • @MauriceRobinsonSport I'm an aggressive player who also likes to play at the net, I have a good shot and I like to make cut reverve drop..between the z slash and voltric 70 which will be best for me?

  • @lilwaynme Without seeing you play I wouldn't like to recommend as it all depends on your arm speed! - If you have a fast enough arm speed then the Z Slash every time! Now you have narrowed it down to two, I would suggest you demo them first and see which is more suitable for your arm speed.

  • @MauriceRobinsonSport I will try experimenting them, but here in Portugal, will be a bit difficult :) thanks for the help

  • Maurice can u give me ur shop adress i wanna come and check ur rackets out (:

  • @12simpleplan Hi, If you want to checkout our racket sports store, please see our website for our address and how to get there. Thanks!

  • @samuraibladez well as a very good yong player for me i use and 85-89g willson racket. I also play singles, or boys doubles. The willson 400 gail emms is good only for a 2 reasons; 1 it is very good gor smashers; 2 because it gives u more time in the air wen tring to give cross drops. But the negative about it is that it is abit of heavy on head and grip. But i recomend out of everything for singles players for higher reactions the VOLTRIC 80(:

  • Hi. I think you should make a correction on the Voltric 70's shaft flex. It's a medium flex! :D

  • @MauriceRobinsonSport Hey, what do you think is the better racket? Arcsaber 10pg or voltric 70? I find that i do have much wrist strength compared to others so for that reason voltric 70 is good, but i cannot react fast enough with it as it is head heavy. I generally play singles so what racket do you think i should get?

    Thanks

  • @samuraibladez Both of these rackets are great - I cannot say one is better than the other as they are designed for different players! The Arc 10 is brilliant for people who have a very fast arm speed and want ultimate control and balance. However if your arm speed is a little slower and you want a little more help with your overheads then I would try the VT70

  • can anybody tell me how the VT7 (not 70) compares to AT600, AT50, AT30?

  • Hi Batman, thanks for your message. I think you may need a bit stiifer shaft now, maybe a Nano 9900 or a Voltric 70 or an Arc Saber 5DX. If you want to come into the shop, we operate a demo system so you can try before you purchase.

  • @MauriceRobinsonSport thanks, my friend is looking at the voltric 70 at the moment as he has the demo racket. i will be coming into the shop on the weekend probably.

  • i got my racket from here! nanospeed 6000, i got it a while ago and need a couple new rackets, which ones would you advise. (preferably head light) i play for warwickshire county development

  • @batman123456789ism i think voltric 70 will be a good choice for you because it got a good power and it is very fast trough the air. i know the weight is in the head but still.

  • i was just wondering if u can do a review on the wilson blx vertex ?

  • Ok thanks, 1 more thing, Did u felt any difference in terms of the sound produced by this racquet due to the new sound filter thingy.

  • Hey bro, just 1 question, and i hope ul reply..

at the middle part of the racquet (the most top part of the racquet's shaft)

theres a yonex logo front and back right?

is it a sticker? or is it painted?

  • @ThatAsianDude93

    it can be peeled right?

  • @ThatAsianDude93 no, I dont think it can be peeled off.

  • @ThatAsianDude93 Hi Sorry for the late reply. Yes, the Voltric range does have a couple of stickers that are cemented on to the racket's shaft. This is because they wanted to use a reflective YY logo on the frame, which is impossible to achieve printing directly on to graphite. I would suggest they did this for a)

    “Style”?! or b) anti-counterfeit measures.

  • Hi sorry for the delay in replying to the choice of racquet. Its really down to your own arm speed on your overhead hitting action. If you have a very fast arm speed the Z Slash would be the better of the two but if you have a slow overhead hitting action the Voltric 70 would be best. I have found the Voltric to suit me better because my arm speed has slowed down. Hope this has helped

  • What do u think the best, sharper and more powerful and fast shot.Between Yonex arcsaber z-slash or Yonex Votric 70.I wanna buy one of them so reply which is best

  • @skylinegtrr361 We found the Yonex 70 to be more powerful, however the Z Slash will reward players who have a faster arm speed

  • @MauriceRobinsonSport now i have known myself a fit racket... voltric 80 thinnest ever

  • I've just borrowed one of these for a three-session demo. First impression is that it's probably the fastest Yonex head of all (even faster than the NS9900), and the balance is a bit milder than the AT700/900 - low-mid 290's at a push.

Makes a hell of a din when it cuts the air, probably due to the variable beam at 1/11. Had to string at low tension (26) because it's not mine:(.

  • I've heard that the Voltric 70 breaks easy because of the tri- voltage system. Does it really break that easy? Should I buy an Armortec 900P or Voltric 70? I like hard smashes but I want to be able to defend well. I also want a racket that is good around the net. I am going to London today and is thinking of buying a Voltric 70 (if it is in stock) If not I think of getting the Armortec 900P Lee C.W Signature racket.

  • @LoOpEddy We have sold our entire allocation of the Voltric 70 and we have not had any returns. It's to early to say whether the build quality of the Voltric 70 is any less or more reliable than the Yonex Armortec 900P. Currently there is no evidence to suggest that the Voltric70 should break any quicker. Our next drop of Voltric 70 rackets is due on Monday so if you want one at the best price with free string upgrade and free UK mainland delivery, then checkout our website

  • @MauriceRobinsonSport

Ok, thank you. I just came home from London and bought it there (very expensive though) but I really like that racket and have tried it for only one training today and I really look forward to play more with it. If I had lived in the UK I would've bought it from you but I was only on a vacation to London for 3 days :(

  • you can string it with 15 kilograms if you want, 11 kilograms is just the garanty. on an arc 10 and z-slash are it 10.5, and peter gade are playing with arc 10 with 14 kilograms. i can say so much my favorite rackets are voltric 70 and nanospeed 9900

  • Very good review? Yeah you said that this is almost your favorite racket, so which is your favorite? If you should compare it to arcsaber 7. Which one is the best in your opinion?

  • @LoOpEddy Hi my personal racquet is the Nanospeed 9900 mainly due to the fact that my overhead arm speed has slowed down over my advancing years. I have found the shaft in the 9900 so responsive to my arm speed and picks up on the speed I want to generate. The racquets seams to help me more than any other racquet. Before the 9900 I used the Arcsaber 7 which I felt had similar feel to the 9900. I do like them both but the 9900 shaft for the why I hit suits me best.

  • and you said its almost your favorite racket, so which is the favorite racket? thanks.

  • @theslayerz My favorite racquet is the Nanospeed 9900 because the shaft helps my racquet arm speed on my overhead hitting

  • compare to armortec 900 power, which has more power in smashing?

  • @theslayerz The new technology helps to give you more power than the Armortec 900 power but it still depends on what feels comfortable to you with your arm speed on overhead hitting

  • What the hell... 24lbs... what a joke. New technology is great, but if yonex is saying that you get the maximum potential with 24lbs tension then they must be smoking. Doubt many higher level players will bother to pick up the racket. You can say it's not about tension but their are a lot of different rackets that aren't as great as yonex series but they make up for it with different qualities. This is just odd in my opinion.

  • @TheKaiserbun That's the typical bullshit Yonex recommendation - it's not lower than their other top rackets, actually. You can of course string them much higher, but void your warranty in the process because the rackets are "not designed to withstand such high tensions". Marketing strategy to have a "valid" reason to exchange less rackets.

The racket is pretty stable as far as I can tell (only strung it @26lbs), but much more flexible than the AT700/AT900/N90. Limits the power, actually :/
