lol runescape is dieing out slowly it used to be almost like atleast 400k a day now it is barley 100k and this past 3 weeks died out to 70k

Yeah it is slowing down a bit but that's 100k users active at one time. so during 1 day would be higher because a quarter of the world is a sleep at any one time.

What really bothers me is that jagex promised better graphics for mechscape but say they pushed runescape's graphics to the "limit". If they had the technology to make better graphics, why didnt they for both games? ; )

because the original RuneScape engine the was written like 5+ years ago was limited by the technology available back then. "based on the same technology" basicly means it will be in browser and will use Java.

Runescape is a completely different form of gaming. It's been rumored that Mechscape will take on a similar interface to WoW (moving your character freely with arrow keys rather than clicking)

Runescape engine allows fairly simple gameplay and graphics

Mechscape will be jagex's more complex game, aimed at an older crowd with better computers.

you will be able to use your RuneScape account jagex has confirmed that. however you will need to start again. But we dont even know if it will be level based. jagex has said meny times that it will be totaly different to Runescape

I doubt people would give up Runescape, the game we all love to play another boring Sci-Fi game and start as a level 3.

well in fact from what we have gathered there wont be a level 3 as such and there wont be hours of pain staking training. but yes what I think will happen is that everyone will be like OMG its new lets give it ago for the first 2 weeks then people will move back to RUneScape

Interesting you should say that, however, if they began constructing this new game back in 2006 I'm sure that it'll be designed so people don't just leave in the first few weeks.
