  • Damn!! That sure is a fancy as heat gun : ) LED's??? does that thing blow digital heat!? lol

  • Fuck it, I'd use a wire brush drill bit tip and take it off licky split that way. My dad has his own cabinet shop, there is nothing sacred about taking off a little bit of wood in the process. I use the same drill bits to take off rust off of metal, and paint off of wood. You can buy a thing of like 5 different sizes for a couple of bucks at Harbor Freight.

I say do whatever works for you... just remember the more marks you make on the cabinet the more wood filler you have to apply. The surface of the cabinet needs to be glass smooth with zero imperfections or as close as you can get to it for the decals to adhere properly. You will see every imperfection under the decals. It takes a lot of dedication to get decals right but the end result is worth all of the effort.

  • If you want your pinball to keep cleaned and good, you must take some hours ONLY to this!!!

  • damn that's gonna be some long Job to do!

    good luck!!!

  • Just sanding in my opinion sucks! The adhesive gums up the sandpaper and it is more of a nightmare than heat gunning. You also will take wood with you when sanding.

  • Captivating.
