Originally released by Paramount in July 1955, and directed by Seymour Kneitel. A note: when WNEW-TV in New York scheduled Casper cartoons in the '60s and '70s, they shelved this cartoon during most of the '70s because they were concerned about the "ethnic portrayals" depicted here...
Excellent piece of work!! Thank you very much for Sharing!!!!!
What a way of meeting people and get to see their talent. At first was reluctant being on youtube, but getting to do this has brought me into the houses of some very special people. You are one of them. Life; isn't it wonderful!!! Keep up the good work. Hope You Are Having A Splendid Day!!!!
ninja9rr, what was that cartoon where a man driving a van's ears become cymbals when he sees Casper after he unlocks the back of his vehicle by sneaking the key away from the driver?
Also, do you have cartoons that *didn't* feature Casper like 'Lion in the Roar'?
@Cybusmaster92 That was *two* cartoons I described, one that he still hasn't uploaded yet (Lion in the Roar didn't feature Casper, even though it was still a Harvey Toons cartoon).
I love this episode, I'm from Mexico, and no, we not yell "El espiritu"... That´s what Make me laugh since my childhood (In the mexican dubbing they leave the original Pancho and the Bullfigter voices, and the result is completely funny) Here in Mexico the scream of a native seeing a ghost will be "Un fantasma", "Un ánima" or, of course, "Un espíritu"...
Thanks for the upload, it make me remember many things for the old times, upload more episodes, please, they're great...
lol someone forgot they are dead too
btw is it just me or does casper look to be of asian descent

It cannot be that easy to cross from the U.S. into Mexico and it can't be as easy to cross from Mexico into the U.S.

@billyk5775 True, it's hard to imagine a road between the two nations without even a gate.
OTOH, what gates or fences could stop Casper from going where he wants to go? ^_^
