While his spin doctors apologise for Obama's absence from the G20 summit with the sham excuse that he needs to sit in the shadows while Bush secures his legacy (are they serious?), Obama sent the worst possible signals by not attending.
1)Obama does not care for the extended multilateralism of the G20, while its a given he will be at the next G8. Bad.
2)Obama is not doing anything to prove he is his own man, and this at the time he's under pressure to keep Bush's people. Even worse.
Obama couldn't even be bothered to attend a very important economic summit, one which actually tries to represent a much broader spectrum of participation than the G-8 meetings.
What a great way of confirming he is little more than a stooge for the CFR and special interests, and it didn't take long at all.
STFU can you at least wait to curcify him for everything..he can't win for losing. If he would have had teh time to attend he would have been accused of trying to Micro manage or push GW out.
