Hypocrite. John and Teresa Kerry living off the fruits of a dead mans hard work. They haven't done a thing to earn their wealth, they both won the marriage lottery. But Kerry demonizes those who have earned a good living using their own brains and hard work as "greedy". I don't blame him for avoiding the taxes but don't be a hypocrite and tell others that they are being greedy by not paying their "fair share". Don't pass tax increases that you have no intention of following yourself. Hypocrite!!
@meast36 Remember the old Smith Barney commercial? That's the one where the old man said at the end that Smith Barney makes it's money the old fashioned way-it earns it! John Kerry makes his money the old fashioned way too, he marries it. Theresa is his third rich wife.
Kerry did what probably anybody would do. He's no more guilty as a tax dodger than people who avoid state sales taxes by buying online. Where Kerry slipped up was in thinking he could get away with this as a prominent politician.
Does anyone honestly think Kerry would have paid these taxes if he hadn't been caught?
