Great show, full of knowledge and understanding. Love it. But Carl had a real problem with grasping a God concept. Way, Way, to many times he states "by accident." No one of "us" was there right? So by logic: ACCIDENT is equal to a "BY DESIGN" view, right! God can do it anyway wanted.
@usbrian67 Haha. The primitive and ignorant goat-herders thousands of years ago no doubt believed that, but now we know it's just a fairy-tale. Our species is several hundred thousand years old and it evolved from earlier forms still. We have science today, you know..? : )

Ya here the hell is the soup today??/ oh it just eat itself up.... and they call this science.... they don't know and they just gloss over all kinds of gaps.... once again not a fact but a very good Theory. The best we can come up with in our finite minds. God knows all and one day he will reveal his secrets to us... and not to all will his secrets be reveal but to those that loved him and followed his commandments. Learn all we can in science but don't exclude God in your findings. Beware
It ate it'self up is a simple way of explaining to people who don't have a clear understanding of chemistry. That explanation would not constitute as science. I think you should considered looking into how we know what is known. Possibly then you can make a judgement as to how many 'glossed over gaps' there are. Critical Analysis is surprisingly useful and enlightening skill, Highly recommended.
usbrian67: it's funny how you mention gaps in such a context. it's actually your 'god' who has always filled those particular gaps. all throughout history those gaps of ignorance have been unknown(or god) until the particular scientific progressions were made...
...eventually religion catches up to science decades and decades later, as a desperate attempt to still be taken seriously in the ever progressing society...

Nonsense. Those mentioned dates already explained the stupidity of this fairy tale. Utterly ridiculous.

usbrian67 do u even know what science theories are? obviously not! scientific theories are different from the general definition of a 'theory'.
the theory of gravity is a theory too but im guessin it doesnt bother u bcuz it doesnt contradict ur worldview.
if evolution is really wrong like u think, then go publish a peer review periodical in an academic journal refuting it.
btw creationism is a bunch of bullshit & even if evolution was wrong(its not), creationism is no alternative! LOL

I should beware because I'm not listening to someone who doesn't talk to me, or I'll lose the chance to get that fresh magic info about the world?
You talk like a fanatic. You're the one who's gonna lose the chance to catch up with reality
