  • The problem is the power supply fan if you take apart your power brick and find the fan there is a lot of dust in it blow the dust out and then put it back together and plug it in and it should work

  • my new 110-240v shouts at me. my kinect can't hear me anymore. i wonder why microsoft ****ed up with this one O_o

  • ah yes that noise is actually i believe the fan is causing that noise i'd watch it if i were you because soon enough the fan may break and it will cause the power supply to overheat giving you a red light on it and your 360 not being able to work

  • zonix that hapen to me to ithough it was the xbox untill i smelt a smell from my power suplie and it made that nose

  • It stoped sorry

  • Mines did dat to and I bang it on the ground few times then I stop making the noise.

  • @adoglewis242 You really shouldn't mistreat the power supply or you may find you console blowing up.

  • happens to me too. Disappears when I launch up a game. And after about 2 hours, or even 7 hours the xbox gets 2 red lights and after I launched it up again it says automatic shutdown to prevent xbox 360 overheating.... I thought it was my xbox that made those noises but its the power supply. Guess i gotta buy a new one

  • theres a small fan inside that thing thats the problem probably i guess over time it fucks up and if the small fan aint running it frys itself i suppose sense it gets hot, so yea get a new its like 20 something bucks on amazon.
