As we marched through the streets we were getting a lot of sympathy from other regular people going about their day in downtown Denver. People sitting out on their lunch breaks clapping for us and holding up peace signs. Some people were out shopping and saw us coming and decided to join us too.

There were 3 stated objectives: 1) end the war 2) increase veterans benefits 3) make reparations to the Iraqi people. I was proud to march with some of our nations finest young men and women. We were actually marching with Marines, Army, Navy and Air Force servicemen & women. I spoke with several of these young men and women and were proud to march with them. The members of RATM saluted them before playing their concert.
