  • Nice video. Simple, informative, easy to follow, and not too long and boring. Nice work.

  • this is a nice, really fast knot. But for a nicer look, I'd go with a double windsor.

  • I watched a few of these and this was the first one that actually did a good job.

Side Note: I'm 30 and this is the first time I've ever tied a tie. My dad did it for me once and I never untied the thing.

  • The wide end is on your left not your right lol

  • @walnutgrovemo read the info box.

  • "You want the wide end on your right side and the narrow on your left"... Did my brain melt or isn't he doing it the other way around?

  • @Euryka89: read the note under the video... "To help you follow along, I've flipped the video so it looks like you're looking in a mirror, ie my right is your right and my left is your left."

  • "Too low and you look like a putz.." Haha.

  • this guy is the real amreican hero!!!

  • I have seen some of your video's and being a female, I think all the knots somewhat look the same.

I am getting married in 3 months and was wondering if my groom and his men have to tie their ties in a specific way?

  • I always use the Four-in-Hand knot. Makes tying a tie easier while running to the office to clock-in on time....

  • whats that really really tiny not called i like that more than anything, this not is boring to me. All I do is this not -_-

  • i want to purchase your tie

  • I've finally learned to tie a tie! Thank you! :D

  • best tie knot

  • @Oneandoneself

This is my favorite knot to tie, except for when I wear a spread collar shirt, then I will either tie either the windsor or the shelby knot.

  • I have to start with the narrow end much higher than that, even with a long tie, I don't mind doing so but does anyone know how I can use less fabric while tying it?

  • @chs123926 same thing with me...

  • You just saved my ass buddy! Thanks alot!!! 5 stars!

  • omg thank you i under stand this freakin knot now XP

  • It is not the Full Windsor, as jordaninthisworld stated. The Full Windsor is a thick, full knot. The Four-in-Hand, as he just tied, is thinner.

  • i could do that!!!!! but not the full windsoer! :SS:SS and plus am old! :S:S:SS

  • yeah the full windsor is so complicated! :SSS

  • dis helped a lot. thx. (^^)

  • The four-in-hand and the full Windsor are NOT the same knot!

The full Windsor is tied differently and results in a symmetrical, thicker knot.

The four-in-hand is a thinner, asymmetrical knot.
