Well, in an interview last year he was talking about him and Vanessa and how they both on't like public events and that they usually stay in the corner and wonder how to slip away and smoke a cigarette. So I think that he has only reduced them and maybe doesn't smoke at home, but there are some recent photos of him holding a cigare as well.

My parents are from different nationalities too and they just take turns- my mum speaks in her mother tongue, my father-in his and they get along pretty well :D
