Jesus is a swindler, he's only a man on his time that can talk and make people believe him so much. who the one can guarantee that maria is a virgin when she give birth to jesus. its so obvious that jesus is a bastard. i'm glad jew cross him.
fucking jesus, shit, jesus is a fag, he lower than a dog!
i say if he really coming again to the world we cross him again
Notice how much of this documentary relies on Josephus? Not good. Many scholars feel that Josephus's writings were forgeries. As for Paul,IMO,he was a roman agent, sent into these various cities to "monitor" these Christian communities, and to try and turn their focus away from the tyranny of the "Romans Empire"/the real message of Jesus &more towards food/conduct issues.Paul manipulated Jesus teachings and made his crucifixion into a "Neccessary event" due to the "sinfulness of the people. PAH
@iwanttocrashmybike Transgressing the law of God is sin. People all around the world do that every day if I am not mistaken. Therefore we all deserve to go to hell. But God had a plan for us. To redeem us and to save us. Only few listen. But it is better to listen now. We are living here on earth to prepare ourselves to serve our God. Those who ignore Gods Word will probably never enter the Kingdom of God.
@parapsyopticnerve you gave me some wisdom which I am forever grateful for. I believe God sent you to give me this wisdom for he told me that I would be receiving some wisdom over the next few days. Thank you for being one of the righteous! Keep speaking the word of truth God appreciates you and so do I.
@parapsyopticnerve Ok. If God is Jesus and Jesus was God then God died as a sacrifice to God for our sins? That doesn't make sense. Jesus would have had to be human for the Passion and Resurrection to matter. However Jesus was and could be God's Son the perfect sinless human. He was the man who walked most clearly in God's likeness and this is what God wants for each and everyone of us that is why He sacrificed His Son so that we could know that he loves each and everyone of us and we would str
God Begat,it is a human word to best describe what we otherwise could not comprehend using our brains.
There are several types of death mentioned in the bible, his body died, but he came back in a Spiritual body.Yes the first earth age,the first Adam(there were two) ,very complicated check my box or search in your internet bar/google:
ShepardsChapel, guy can quote the bible verse by verse in at least 3 dif languages.
@parapsyopticnerve LOL!! Well I have to admit that's a good point. So I guess my question would be did Jesus channel God in or did God choose Jesus? What happened to Jesus' soul?
@parapsyopticnerve ok. God loves you! God loves you! God loves you! God loves you! God loves you! Jesus loves you! Jesus loves you! Jesus loves you! Jesus loves you! I'm not arguing Jesus's divinity. I'm arguing that it doesn't matter. Only LIFE matters and that you know God and His Son loves you! Do you think Jesus wants us to sit around and contemplate whether he was God? No! He wants us to unconditionally love one another so that His kingdom will rise here on earth. What do you want?
@tattoopopaperks Christianity in a nutshell:God decides to redeem mankind, to save them from his eternal damnation. To do so, he will send his son to be sacrifice to HIMSELF,in atonement for the sins committed against HIMSELF. He chooses a people to help him do it. He makes sure that they know of his plan by sending prophets, But if they know he is the Messiah, they will not kill him, and his plan will be spoiled. So he makes the prophecies murky. His scheme works..Praise be to god.
@ASexyChef One other thing Jesus taught spirituality through direct connection to divinity. He used this knowledge to show people that they don't need "Church" to connect to divinity. This threatened the control that "Church" had over man and money. They killed him for it. However his pure connection to God proved true through the resurrection and so the Church powers to be had no choice but to use him as their icon when really he was a freedom fighter and a revolutionary. In the end he won and
@sexychef and he died to show us. He did not die to show us that he was God for that is an impossibility. SexyChef God loves you and wants you in his kingdom too. Keep speaking your mind because God loves to here you speak for you are definitely one of the righteous! God Bless You!
@tattoopopaperks For Jesus(flesh body) yes impossible, but for the replacement of a soul/spirit with the direct input of God is very possible and what happened.
@ASexyChef Why do you hang your salvation on whether Jesus said he was God or not? First of all Jesus would have never claimed to be God because that would be blasphemy. Secondly Jesus never tried to create another religion so the trinity is something made up after the fact to convert people from other religions. Paul actually created Christianity as we know it today not Jesus. Most importantly is that you listen to the Word of God through Jesus. He showed the world what unconditional love is a
This video is not scientific, but appeals to sensationalism. There are very very few historians and theologians that subscribe to these nut-job theories, outside of the Jesus Seminar, sophomore educated college students, and of-course the religion atheism and their televangelists.
It's Israel! Not Palestine! They are Judea and Samaria! Not the West Bank! Palestine is just a region! Just like the Mojave Desert to the United States of America or Siberia to Russia.
If Jesus was just a guy who was executed by the Romans for disturbing the peace, how is it that he has become the most influential figure in human history? No single person, regardless of their feats, accomplishments, atrocities or legends, has ever been remembered or worshipped by so many people. There is a reason for that, and it's not clever human deception.
@maxINaus You do realize you just described Buddha first, and before there was a Buddha there was a man called Zoroaster who created the first monotheistic religion, it was spread from india threw the middle east into europe, predate Buddhism by 1,000 years, predates Jewish religion by 2,000 or more years. So you might need study world religions...
@ASexyChef Buddhism is a philosophy, not a religion.
My point was that no other person has been so influential or remembered or worshipped as Jesus.
Zoroa-who? That's right. No one knows who he is.
God wants us to know him. Only Christianity has given us the Bible, a strong unbroken history that goes back to the beginning of human history. A book that is freely available almost anywhere on the planet, just as Jesus promised it would be 2000 years ago.
@maxINaus Yes I know no one seems to know who Zoroaster was which is incredible, seeing as its the oldest monotheistic religion and we know that for a fact yet even the history channel keeps saying its the bible, the really sad thing is its still a practicing religion it used to be the largest religion in the world but first christianity than Islam took over the areas were it was, its supposed to of originated possible in Afghanistan too, its interesting but you have to look to find info on it!
@ASexyChef My point is that God wants us to know him. He has made the Bible readily available. You still need to study the Bible to understand it. It's not easy, but it's there. These rare, comparatively unavailable texts you're talking about are not accessible to everyone. So what are the chances that they hold knowledge critical to man's salvation?
@ASexyChef Many ancient religions and legends parallel the Biblical narrative. There's a simple reason for that: People of the ancient world were familiar with these biblical events and they recorded them separately, and just like what Asian countries did to the Buddha's story, they changed it and moulded it to suit their traditions.
@maxINaus But Buddha is actual just as worshiped in asia, they teachings are very similar, have you heard or looked into the codex sinaiticus its now the oldest known bible in the world ever found, 1600 years old, and they have translations online, which actual seem to support my views biblically... And there are books not in the original just found it online recently and honestly about to start reading it again.
@ASexyChef Buddha never claimed to be God. He was turned into a God by different Asian nations. He never wanted to be worshipped or idolised, he only wanted to share his realisations about suffering and freedom from desire. It's about the mind.
I like Buddhism, but it doesn't answer the bigger questions.
The teachings of all religions are similar, they largely promise the same things.
@ASexyChef Sorry. I haven't looked at your replies and have deleted them. The Lord has revealed to me the pointless nature of these discussions. From now on I will do my best to only reply to post regarding the spiritual truths of the Word of God. Grace and peace to you.
@chestveeg Cheers whatever, I hope God gives you something more like insight, and the will to go out and study for yourself, really please go out and read even religious men you talk about things like aspects they know were added to the gospel, and try to find out more on history, and facts, and less on the one bible you read, which may have flaws in it. Cheers sorry you give up on debating me, but I debated family who are religious scholars/preachers on this, they can't win either.
I understand why this is called "From Jesus to Christ" as if He evolved. "Christ" is the English form of Greek "Christos", equivalent to Hebrew "Mashiach" (Messiah in English). In the New Testament Jews said "Messiah" (Christ), but Gentiles used the phrase "the King of the Jews". The Magi said, "Where is He who has been born King of the Jews?" (Matthew 2:2). So He was born Christ. I John 4:2,3 says that to divide Jesus (Jesus of history versus Christ of faith) is the spirit of the antichrist.
Revelation 1: 8 - "I am the Alpha and the Omega (= I am the A and the Z)", says THE LORD GOD, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty".
Revelation 1:17 - "And He (Jesus) laid His right hand upon me, saying, "Do not be afraid; I AM THE FIRST AND THE LAST, and the Living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of the land of the dead".
@randwolfray How do you fully trust revelations for being perfect enough to site when what it states in Revelations 1:1 is proved to be wrong??????????????
Revelation 1:1 The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place.
How is it Soon if its been 2000 years some scholars think its hidden attack on Rome, 666 is easily the name of Nero which was the Roman Emperor of the time, so some view it as a way to preach against Rome and hid it.
@randwolfray But all threw revelations its claiming to be going to happen soon, the time is near, etc. And all scholars who study the writing style of Revelations V.S John Gospel state flat out, the person who wrote John the gospel is not the same writer as revelations, and Revelations openly contradict John Gospel over and over.
@randwolfray Not only is the Jesus in Revelations not the same as Jesus in the Gospel of John but its not the same Jesus in the bible at all.In the gospel Jesus saves a woman accused of adultery with the line he without sin cast the first stone, but Jesus in revelations Jesus will kill any children born from adultery with her (2: 22,23)
@randwolfray In Revelations if remember the Jesus of the bible verses the Jesus in Revelations your cursed you have to go with revelations, exactly as written or be eternally punished (22:18,19) - be cast out of the book of life! Revelations 2 it starts judging people only on the church they are from not as individuals!
@asexychef You bring out an excellent point regarding the minor differences of the Gospel accounts. The fact that they don't match exactly gives me faith that there was no collusion, and that the accounts were given by individual perspective, even though inspired of God. And, BTW, the reason the trinity seems so hard to grasp is that it is not a Biblical teaching. Jesus never said he was God, nor did he say he was equal to God. Phillipians, the second chapter explains it.
@ASexyChef Proof of Trinity -Matthew 28:19 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" - that means baptize them in the name of God.
@chestveeg Here you have the best claim for the trinity and yet, to my studies the whole area you just cited is claimed to be an addition, not part of the original, its a fraud, is the claim of experts, there is allot of the bible that they proved was added, In the beginning there was the word is one that was not on the original bible too but added which would support the trinity, but was proven to be added at a much later date decades ago. Still its not claim I am God even if you keep it in.
@ASexyChef John 10:30-33 "I and the Father are one." Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus said to them, "I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?" "We are not stoning you for any of these," replied the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God."
@chestveeg John 1030 were does he say oo well I am claiming to be God, he had clearly the chance to state that than, yet does he? Jew questions it, yup I read that story too, but Jesus never than says I am God, nope he doesn't, not than, not when he came back and the whole claim was they clearly would of killed him than if he had, so than thats is why I just ask he was on earth 40 days and yet even during that time not clear statement I am God, how hard is it to make a clear statement?
@chestveeg Wake up, if the most important thing for all humanity was, everyone to think Jesus is God the trinity, than why does Jesus never come out and just state it, ooo yes if you qoute mine and line them up just right, and make sure you obtain the right translation or read the right bible than Jesus does state it, if you do all that work, but if you obtain a basic bible with no added texts, just the ones with as pure translations and read it in context its clear he never states it..
@ASexyChef Read John 5:18 . Jesus did not hesitate to claim equality with God the Father. The Greek word for equal in John 5:18 is isos, as in an isosceles, or equal-sided, triangle. Jesus was and is ("in very nature God,"Philippians 2:5-6) and therefore was not blaspheming by claiming to be God.
@chestveeg so I looked it up and your view is because in he states he is the Son of God that thus makes him Claim he is equal with God, so we ignore the parts were he tells his apostles and followers God is your father, or they are God's Children do I need to cit those for you or have you read the bible enough to grasp he does say that? Jesus compares his followers to children of God you do grasp that yes? Which translations should I use for john 518?
@chestveeg We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him. OR? We know that God's children do not make a practice of sinning, for God's Son holds them securely, and the evil one cannot touch them. OR? We know that everyone who has been born of God does not keep on sinning, but he who was born of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him I can keep posting more translation or how about John 519?
@chestveeg Its laughable, cause you ignore John 519 or what when you read 518 in your bible? Because all the translations of it are We know that we are of God, or We know we are children of God, so jesus claim of being the son thus makes him no more divine than every other human on the planet why cause all us males are sons of God and the females would than be daughters why? Because John 5:19 states it Read the bible in CONTEXT and stop quote mining the thing Jesus never claims divinity sorry.
Many prophets and messengers including Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad peace be up on all of them were sent by the only true god to convey this message. The true god is only one. Worship him alone and keep his commandments.
@ASexyChef Jesus is God and clearly identifies himself with (Exodus 3:13-15) in (John 8:58).Jesus is eternal and is Melchizedek ,has communion (Gen 14:8). ( Dead Sea Scroll 11Q13)-For this is the moment of the Year of Grace for Melchizedek and he will, by his strength, judge the holy ones of God, executing judgement as it is written concerning him in the Songs of David, who said, ELOHIM has taken his place in the divine council. Melchizedek =ELOHIM = Jesus (Hebrews 7:1-25)
@chestveeg You here doing so much work or siting someone who has done so much work to prove the divinity of Jesus, which is were you get the view of proof. Yet the early followers the converts the mass of people who would be there to listen to Jesus would not even be able to logically read. You than have to grasp its still your and others interpretations that to you prove he is Divine, yet what I wondered since I was a kid is never answered why would Jesus not just state it.
@chestveeg I have talk to people who go with in the beginning there was the word, at the start of John as clear proof, which it still is not Jesus stating I am God, and when you than go with the 40 days Jesus was around after his death, there would of been amble time for he to state I am God than, yet you still have to take and use interpretations, done by yourself and others to site Jesus clearly said he was divine, when if that is the most important thing he would of just stated it.
@chestveeg Trust me I grasp that you yourself are sure that Jesus clearly does state by these and other quotes he is God. I read the bible more times than I can remember and yet I am still left with the same question I have had since I started to study it myself. Which is if the trinity must be believed for salvation, than why did Jesus not just come out and state he is God, he doesn't. He never says I am God ever, so I am left with viewing the message and what he taught is the salvation.
@ASexyChef In a debate with skeptics regarding Jesus' resurrection, Christians are in a "no-win" situation. If the resurrection accounts harmonize perfectly, skeptics will claim that the writers of the Gospels conspired together. If the resurrection accounts have some differences, skeptics will claim that the Gospels contradict each other and therefore cannot be trusted. It is our contention that the resurrection accounts can be harmonized and do not contradict each other.
@chestveeg Today if you look to how cops interrogate people when an event happens, its when you have people who tell a perfect story you have more of a chance of a conspiracy, a harmonize story doesn't happen there are differences, but than you must excepted that from people recounting something from memory, than you have to use that logically to try to find the real story of events. Yet even with that you will never know certain aspects, of that story, for sure.
@ASexyChef We must remember the news of Jesus' resurrection produced much excitement in Jerusalem, and in the ensuing chaos many people were going many different directions. Groups were separated, and several different groups paid visits to the tomb, possibly more than once. The writers of the Gospels did not attempt an exhaustive narrative; in other words, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John had no intention of telling us every detail of the resurrection or every event in the order that it happened.
@ASexyChef Jesus appeared 12 times after being resurrected. (Matthew 28.8-10) (Mark 16.12,13; Luke 24.13-34) (John 21.1-14) (John 20.26-31; 1 Cor. 15.5).(Matthew 28.16-20)(Acts 3.15) (2 Pet. 2.16).(1 John 1.1,3) (1Cor. 15.6) specifically states that "He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep."
I urge everyone who watches this to look at it and realize that they give no facts for anything they say. The only facts are on Julius Caesar and locations of the cities. Every thing else is a retelling of what they think "probably happened" with no proof. It's just an obvious attempt to destroy your faith. Even the name of this guys channel is deceptive. He attempts to pass himself of as "HeroOfChrist". The Holy Spirit keep you out of these traps listen to The Spirit.
You miss my point. The point was not that Paul witnessed the resurrection. My point was that in his letters he spoke of the 500 who did and also suggested that the Corinthians ask the eye witnesses. That means it was something could have been verified by at least 500 people as well as the apostles. Have you ever heard of a UFO abduction involving 500 people? I think not. Paul had Christ appear to him In a vision and heard Christ's voice as well as did his companions.
No, I read your point, and I retorted accordingly. Imagine yourself being skeptical about extraterrestrials. Let's assume that you are. After voicing your skepticism, I direct you to a leading ufologist who has interviewed hundreds of abduction and encounter claimants. Will you be convinced by the testimonies? Of course not. Yet, those claimants believe their experiences to be genuine and valid. See, verbal and/or written testimony is not enough. Your belief is blind faith.
@HeroOfChristArchives - The difference is in the amount of people that witnessed the resurrection at one time. Also, God Himself will enter into this reality right now and communicate to you personally if you believe the reports which will swallow your "blind" faith up with sight. Many refuse to believe and earnestly seek Him. There is no need to prove that a lion will devour someone, you just point them to the cage and encourage them to be brave enough to open it: God will answer.
@HeroOfChristArchives I have a problem with your phrase "blind faith". Many define faith as "belief in spite of the absence of evidence".That's blind faith, but that is not a Biblical definition of faith. In the Bible faith means "acting on the evidence". It's evidence like you get in a court trial, where you ponder its weight and go with what is most reasonable. Also, Luke 16:31 - "If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be persuaded if someone rises from the dead".
@HeroOfChristArchives One relates to terrestial entitys within(of) our Universe, the other is the Universe being used as a mechanism for communication by the designer "Never seen a CPU,without knnowing it has ancestry to a nerd somewhere unseen".Then again particles in space technically qualify as "aliens".
@HeroOfChristArchives If you open the door. The door is Jesus. Then you will have faith that sees. Believing in ufo's does not afford you the benefit of encountering ufo's, but God has promised to anyone who opens the door that they will encounter Him. It has never been about believing words on a page, but rather know and experiencing the Living God, Jesus Christ.
@azionwarriorbride So were is it, that Jesus ever say I am God though? Granted he does say I am the son, and God is his father but read the text and the apostles are children of God and God is their father too, Jesus taught many things, but the one thing he never taught, never said is I am God, nor did he say, You must believe me God, he does say you have to believe in ME, but he also says he is the word, so he is the word and his message is what than gives you salvation, not the trinity...
@ASexyChef Jesus, the Son of God, the Word of God, who John defines as God in John 1:1, declares in Matthew 23:34, "Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and [some] of them ye shall kill and crucify; and [some] of them
shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute [them] from city to city:"
Jesus is declaring that He has the authority to send prophets. Only God has the authority to send prophets. They didn't want to stone Him for blasphemy for nothing.
@azionwarriorbride So you still do not have what I think its odd, if it is the most important thing to do its believe Jesus is God, why when he came back for 40 days did we never have a single quote that I am God though, you have people who than take a statement that he will send prophets, by a person who is reading into something that Jesus said, by you and others, which if a preacher states the same verse you grasp he is just quoting scripture but when Jesus does it, a statement of divinity?
@ASexyChef - Any preacher claiming to be able to send a "foreteller" would be a questionable incident indeed. By the way, the issue requires trust. You can explain away anything, even things that actually happen to you. Trust means you allow yourself to be persuaded by the amount of evidence presented, not an exhaustive refutation of your arguments. Trust can exist even if you still have arguments. Benefit of Jesus, if you trust Him, He will show Himself and the Father to you. It's trust friend.
@ASexyChef - "‘My sheep listen to my voice... I give them eternal life... they shall never perish... My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. I and the Father ARE ONE. Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him... I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me? We are not stoning you for any of these, but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God." John 10:27-33
@azionwarriorbride You can quote john this or that, but you always have to read the full context of the bible to try to understand it... My one question and statement always remain the same, that is Jesus never just says I am God, and so if its the most important thing, the thing you must believe for salvation than why would Jesus himself not just state that? Yup if you read into his writing and line them up just right it seems like a claim but you ignore the next passage typically doing so.
@ASexyChef and @HeroOfChristArchives - Read Revelation 1:8 and 1:17 together as context. God is "A" and "Z", and when Jesus says "I am the First and the Last" He is claiming to be God, and these scriptures are the Biblical evidence of it. The only way you can deny that is to say that Jesus did not really manifiest Himself to John, and so invalidate the Book of Revelation as a book of the canon. He was in His glorified form, not any less real than when He was in His earthly ministry.
@randwolfray So instead of Jesus just coming out and Saying what the church claims, that Jesus is God and to must believe that to have salvation, no once again nope he would never just state that even his 40 days after his resurrection, you have to take passages here and there to grasp it, WHY WOULD IF THAT IS WHAT IS SALVATION WHY is he not just saying I am God than, why is he the Son, or God his Father ALWAYS, why does he say to his followers than too God is their father, and not I am he is
@randwolfray Revelation, is a very complex read, were you have to than go into readling allot of experts on it, because there is allot of it, that has claims to be written at later times, or added subtexts put in, that is also with the gospel itself, but Jesus beings the Church which spreads the world too the world and he will than come at the end of days, so he is the First to start that movement and he will be there at the end it could just mean that too, not he is claiming to be God!!!
@randwolfray I am sorry but it makes not SENSE what so ever, if the only way to have Salvation is the concept Jesus is God, why would Jesus not just state that EVER, you have to take a sentence out of context and put it up and state clearly this proves it, and if not that bit than lets take this saying, with this one, and lets cherry pick some sayings and than just read them all up in a line which proves something Jesus never says! He never says I AM GOD, EVER THATS A FACT!
@ASexyChef How could the flesh body be God?You would have to mean the Subsystem Mind being "replaced" by God "himself" as opposed to a "regular" human soul/spirit.
None can know the father, lest by the son...So although the Ego "Jesus" was not God,it was his vessel....Makes sense to me if one is even Deistic for potentialitys of any concept of God being able to literally manifest such a History of events.Rational leaders have done "crazier" things as of yet.
@ParaPsyopticNerve The old testament makes it clear there is one God, only with paul do you have the concept start to be created of the trinity. Yet if you go that Jesus is God and that is the only way to salvation, it than becomes odd that Jesus never states he is God, the only way you have the concept is to take what Jesus says out of context and cherry pick other sayings, and line them up so it appears as if he is saying that, yet if Jesus is God why did he never state I am God?
@ASexyChef Jesus the fleshly man(body/ego) was not God,it was Gods Avatar,so how could Jesus the man say he is God,when he is not?
If he was not God incarnate, than any random idiots could be chosen to convey a communication, the fact he died accordingly to the scriptures and of course historical strength/devotion implys comparitively that it was God,lol, just crazy enough to be ture;-)
@ParaPsyopticNerve When does Jesus state he is God's avatar than, and I do not think Jesus would be perfect in the sense that God is perfect but I think he would be the perfect person. What all people could attempt to aspire too, see as God is beyond the understanding as man. The issue with the claim of Jesus divinity is one, he never states that ever. So if the concept is that is what one must believe why would he just state that ever? The more we discover earlier sources for the bible
@ParaPsyopticNerve You do have quotes like the one you mention, but you have to read it in the context of what he was saying. Jesus was teaching people their relation to God, he did state he is the son of God, yet he than almost always tells those around him they are children of God, or when referring to God his father he than relates God is their followers aswell, so than you ask yourself who is Jesus. He is the Son of God yet he makes it clear we are all spiritual children of God.
@ASexyChef Only begotten Son,not even Angels are his direct children,Yes Father metaphorically were all one=equal in his "eyes".In reality "the son" is part of the trinity effect,Fire:1.Lights,2Warms,3.Burns....And thats just using these dimensions...
@ParaPsyopticNerve Take the discovery of the Codex for example, there are books that are translated where Jesus is the servant of God not even state as the Son of God in them there is also other texts found that date to an earlier date, one that is said to be the bible created by Jesus family that in it have Jesus as clearly state as a man and having no divinity. But even without those you have the complexing aspect I first stated that being even when he came back he never state he was God ever
@ASexyChef You could play it like Apollyonius,Rasputin or any other "leader",but its too coincidental that surviving its Statism by a certain General and the Vatican to have some "mere man" die for our sins via incarnation of direct input in place of a soul/spirit.
@ParaPsyopticNerve Than Jesus also refers to himself as the Message, who became flesh too, he not like other men, he comes from a Virgin, he is the messiah, after his death its the bible, its the good news its the word that must be spread, and jesus spreads a message of love, kindness doing good, loving even your enemy, etc. Yet not during his life does Jesus ever state he is God, even the 40 days after his death he never states I am God, yet the trinity is taught as the way to salvation.
@ParaPsyopticNerve So if the trinity the concept that Jesus is God is the only way to have salvation, if that is the most important thing, why never do you read ever in any of the new testament Jesus declare he is God, why does Jesus not state that is salvation, you have a saying such as its easier for a camel to go threw the eye of a needle than a rich man to get into heaven, why is that if today a rich man can get into heaven if he believes Jesus is God, how does that make sense?
@ParaPsyopticNerve So who is Jesus, he clearly is the Messiah, he clearly is born of a woman so he is Mortal because God can not be born, he teaches things that go against the Jewish faith of the time, salvation was sacrificing to the temple, yet Jesus teaches being kind, doing good things is more important, so to me who is Jesus, he is the one perfect man, he is the example of what God wants humanity to be, what we humans can be, we can not be like God, but we can be like Jesus, he the example.
@ASexyChef Replace a normal human soul with Gods direct essence and youll get it.
Also,MAN CANNOT BE PERFECT,its literally impossible Physically speaking,Metaphorically and in Spiritual Maturity can we defeat death and be born again back into Spiritual Body's.
@ParaPsyopticNerve So if Jesus is the example than clearly only threw knowing Jesus can you get into his fathers house, because only threw knowing what we are supposed to be, only threw knowing the example of how we are to be, how we should act, treat each other do we know how God wants us to be, and only threw being what God wants us to be can we go into heaven. Jesus comes back to prove that God does give ever lasting life, that we all can obtain that threw his guidance, threw his example.
@randwolfray I grasp what your talking about, yes he does say it one way in one translation that looks more like the evidence your looking for, but other translations he says it slightly different, than you have you scholars who than debate if it was part of the original or if its an addition, because allot of the New Testament scholars who are christian will point out clear areas they know were added at later dates yet still part of standard translations today. Etc, etc, etc....
@randwolfray You not replied at all, I still pose one revelations is not a source to US because its first a prophetic dream, no one really knows who wrote it, its accredited to John but its still not a claim by Jesus himself of his divinity. If it was John it was during his finally day & he is foreseeing the future, so my original question still stands my friend, which is if the way to salvation is to believe Jesus is Divine why does Jesus not state that, you site a dream as proof.
@ASexyChef - Jesus was the Word of God from the beginning, the creator of all things, "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made (the Word, Jesus)."
@ASexyChef - "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead." Colossians 1:15-18
@chestveeg Your premise sadly fails because you have more than 500 people claiming to see a UFO, and that is tech what you have is a claim of more than 500 people seeing Jesus, so you do not need an abduction because all you have is a claim of a viewing not an interaction with 500 people like he baptism them, the issue with paul though is he never meet Jesus, he had some odd conversion were he went blind.
In Paul's letter to the Corinthians he says that Jesus was seen resurrected by the twelve and 500 people. He even at one point says if you don't believe me ask the eyewitnesses. So apparently the resurrection is something that could have been verified by a lot of people within the lifetime of the apostles.
But guess who wasn't an eyewitness to the events Paul was writing about? Paul. Paul was recording the testimonies of others, not an eyewitness account.
A similar issue arises within ufology. Thousands of people have provided eyewitness accounts of UFO encounters, sightings and even abductions. This in no way validates extraterrestrial existence. Asserting that a 1st century Galilean Jew of the Nazarene community bodily ascended into heaven is an even less credible claim.
@chestveeg You do grasp you fully ignore the whole point of skeptics right? Because its fact that the is no first hand accounts, you have at the best second hand writing maybe based off of first hand accounts, thats just the facts, but its clear you have copies, of copies if they do come from first hand accounts for hundreds of years. So you write the new testament out, by hand, and have a friend translate that for you who not good at english and translate it back from his lang, etc!
@chestveeg So when you have that account of 500 you must be fully logical with it, because its a story if its from the mouth of apostle is still from years later, and so what do you do with the fact that Luck, Mark, John, Paul all have difference threw out them! From who visits the baby Jesus, to who found the tomb at the resurrection, and what they found there, its simple take out your bible and read each start at the beginning of each separate one, page by page, and see the difference in each
@chestveeg So the point is, if the New Testament can not even get the facts of who found the tomb and what they found in each, how can you than claim for sure that the account of 500 to be accurate, cause just take that one part when they find the tomb and tell me who found it, and what they found, when you read the accounts side by side, cause they do not even agree about that, or take Jesus on the Cross, how long did it take him to die, and what did he say, and who was there at the cross?
@chestveeg But what you have to do, is read them side by side of the same accounts, and grasp that there is a huge difference which makes sense, when they are an account by a person who was there, decades after the fact, and than copied for a few hundred years and its like that game were you whisper a sentence in the ear of a friend and onto the next and than have the last person say what it was supposed to be, and it makes sense there are so many differences with them.
1. Why does this video say the Bible says he was born Bethlehem but "most likely he was born in Nazareth" they give no explanation for contradicting the bible on that. 2. Isaiah 40:3 speaks about johns relation to Jesus and it was written 800 before Christ birth. The gospels didn't need to explain any of it. No way was Jesus a student of John the baptist. .
This video takes what the bible says without providing any proof or facts and then basically says what " most likely happened" no actual facts in this video.
The real question is "but why?" Why would and why do any religions think it is their responsibility to convince and convert. Such a load of crap. Godspeed my friends. Stick to your guns.
if i was making a program with an athiest bias i'd say he didn't even exist. They say here that they KNOW he lived.Nothing written in the bible has ever been proved true.Nothing more than that can also be proved in every other myth told.
@megaj1964 I hate that too, its clear that if its a true documentary, and not just a claim on TBN which is really just them preaching, which is fine to have those out there, but religious nuts seem to think if its not just like what they watch on like TBN it must be Atheistic Propaganda, because if its not presented in a way that fully agree with their view, I do not know if its Fox News warping them to thinking anything that poses more than their side is always just leftist atheist conspiracy,
All I have to do in any of these documentaries is see John Dominic Crossan and I know there is an atheist bias. He says he's not; his actions and his bizarre interpretations of the historical facts say otherwise.
@HeroOfChristArchives I demonize no one. Simply; in my opinion there is little educational value to a lot of what the Jesus Seminar is implying, without some major assumptions, their theories fall apart. There is no doubt a truth in these matters, and as such, these documentaries as sensational and entertaining as they are, take us down an avenue further from the truth.
@HeroOfChristArchives Ok How is this? In order to fully educate yourself on the Jesus Seminar read "scholars" like William Lane Craig, NT wright, R. T. France, Howard Clark Kee, Bruce Chilton and if you'd like more, I will be happy to supply you with many! many! more scholarly critics, of the Jesus Seminar.
@piusvapor I find it sad, when these documentaries, do not present the traditional gospel like a preacher, they must be an atheist, seriously your being a twit, if you want to do a proper documentary you do not pick a side, you pose it like it could be true or not, if this was some grand atheist conspiracies, than they would deny Jesus was around at all, they would only have richard dawkins and others and so watch one of those and tell me this is clearly atheist bias, turn off fox news shesh

However his pure connection to God proved true through the resurrection and so the Church powers to be had no choice but to use him as their icon when really he was a freedom fighter and a revolutionary. If Jesus was just a guy who was executed by the Romans for disturbing the peace, how is it that he has become the most influential figure in human history? No single person, regardless of their feats, accomplishments, atrocities or legends, has ever been remembered or worshipped by so many people. There is a reason for that, and it's not clever human deception.
maxINaus 2 weeks ago
@maxINaus You do realize you just described Buddha first, and before there was a Buddha there was a man called Zoroaster who created the first monotheistic religion, it was spread from india threw the middle east into europe, predate Buddhism by 1,000 years, predates Jewish religion by 2,000 or more years. So you might need study world religions...
ASexyChef 2 weeks ago
@ASexyChef Buddhism is a philosophy, not a religion.
My point was that no other person has been so influential or remembered or worshipped as Jesus.
Zoroa-who? That's right. No one knows who he is.
God wants us to know him. Only Christianity has given us the Bible, a strong unbroken history that goes back to the beginning of human history. A book that is freely available almost anywhere on the planet, just as Jesus promised it would be 2000 years ago.
maxINaus 2 weeks ago
@maxINaus Yes I know no one seems to know who Zoroaster was which is incredible, seeing as its the oldest monotheistic religion and we know that for a fact yet even the history channel keeps saying its the bible, the really sad thing is its still a practicing religion it used to be the largest religion in the world but first christianity than Islam took over the areas were it was, its supposed to of originated possible in Afghanistan too, its interesting but you have to look to find info on it!
ASexyChef 2 weeks ago
@ASexyChef My point is that God wants us to know him. He has made the Bible readily available. You still need to study the Bible to understand it. It's not easy, but it's there. These rare, comparatively unavailable texts you're talking about are not accessible to everyone. So what are the chances that they hold knowledge critical to man's salvation?
maxINaus 2 weeks ago
@ASexyChef Many ancient religions and legends parallel the Biblical narrative. There's a simple reason for that: People of the ancient world were familiar with these biblical events and they recorded them separately, and just like what Asian countries did to the Buddha's story, they changed it and moulded it to suit their traditions.
maxINaus 2 weeks ago
@maxINaus But Buddha is actual just as worshiped in asia, they teachings are very similar, have you heard or looked into the codex sinaiticus its now the oldest known bible in the world ever found, 1600 years old, and they have translations online, which actual seem to support my views biblically... And there are books not in the original just found it online recently and honestly about to start reading it again.
ASexyChef 2 weeks ago
@ASexyChef Buddha never claimed to be God. He was turned into a God by different Asian nations. He never wanted to be worshipped or idolised, he only wanted to share his realisations about suffering and freedom from desire. It's about the mind.
I like Buddhism, but it doesn't answer the bigger questions.
The teachings of all religions are similar, they largely promise the same things.

Evidence That Jesus Claimed To Be God -
Revelation 1: 8 - "I am the Alpha and the Omega (= I am the A and the Z)", says THE LORD GOD, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty".

Phillipians, the second chapter explains it.
mindimcmains 1 month ago
@ASexyChef Proof of Trinity -Matthew 28:19 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" - that means baptize them in the name of God.
chestveeg 1 month ago

ASexyChef 3 weeks ago
@chestveeg Wake up, if the most important thing for all humanity was, everyone to think Jesus is God the trinity, than why does Jesus never come out and just state it, ooo yes if you qoute mine and line them up just right, and make sure you obtain the right translation or read the right bible than Jesus does state it, if you do all that work, but if you obtain a basic bible with no added texts, just the ones with as pure translations and read it in context its clear he never states it..
ASexyChef 3 weeks ago
@ASexyChef Read John 5:18 . Jesus did not hesitate to claim equality with God the Father. The Greek word for equal in John 5:18 is isos, as in an isosceles, or equal-sided, triangle. Jesus was and is ("in very nature God,"Philippians 2:5-6) and therefore was not blaspheming by claiming to be God.
chestveeg 1 month ago
@chestveeg so I looked it up and your view is because in he states he is the Son of God that thus makes him Claim he is equal with God, so we ignore the parts were he tells his apostles and followers God is your father, or they are God's Children do I need to cit those for you or have you read the bible enough to grasp he does say that? Jesus compares his followers to children of God you do grasp that yes? Which translations should I use for john 518?
ASexyChef 3 weeks ago
@chestveeg We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him. OR? We know that God's children do not make a practice of sinning, for God's Son holds them securely, and the evil one cannot touch them. OR? We know that everyone who has been born of God does not keep on sinning, but he who was born of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him I can keep posting more translation or how about John 519?
ASexyChef 3 weeks ago
@chestveeg Its laughable, cause you ignore John 519 or what when you read 518 in your bible? Because all the translations of it are We know that we are of God, or We know we are children of God, so jesus claim of being the son thus makes him no more divine than every other human on the planet why cause all us males are sons of God and the females would than be daughters why? Because John 5:19 states it Read the bible in CONTEXT and stop quote mining the thing Jesus never claims divinity sorry.

ASexyChef 1 month ago
@chestveeg I have talk to people who go with in the beginning there was the word, at the start of John as clear proof, which it still is not Jesus stating I am God, and when you than go with the 40 days Jesus was around after his death, there would of been amble time for he to state I am God than, yet you still have to take and use interpretations, done by yourself and others to site Jesus clearly said he was divine, when if that is the most important thing he would of just stated it.
ASexyChef 1 month ago

It is our contention that the resurrection accounts can be harmonized and do not contradict each other.
chestveeg 1 month ago
@chestveeg Today if you look to how cops interrogate people when an event happens, its when you have people who tell a perfect story you have more of a chance of a conspiracy, a harmonize story doesn't happen there are differences, but than you must excepted that from people recounting something from memory, than you have to use that logically to try to find the real story of events. @ASexyChef We must remember the news of Jesus' resurrection produced much excitement in Jerusalem, and in the ensuing chaos many people were going many different directions. Groups were separated, and several different groups paid visits to the tomb, possibly more than once. The writers of the Gospels did not attempt an exhaustive narrative; in other words, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John had no intention of telling us every detail of the resurrection or every event in the order that it happened.
chestveeg 1 month ago

Paul had Christ appear to him In a vision and heard Christ's voice as well as did his companions.
chestveeg 1 month ago
@chestveeg
HeroOfChristArchives 1 month ago
@HeroOfChristArchives - The difference is in the amount of people that witnessed the resurrection at one time. Also, God Himself will enter into this reality right now and communicate to you personally if you believe the reports which will swallow your "blind" faith up with sight. Many refuse to believe and earnestly seek Him. There is no need to prove that a lion will devour someone, you just point them to the cage and encourage them to be brave enough to open it: God will answer.
azionwarriorbride 1 month ago
@azionwarriorbride
Yes, I agree. God must be experienced. Otherwise, it's blind faith.
HeroOfChristArchives 1 month ago

ASexyChef 1 month ago
@ASexyChef Jesus, the Son of God, the Word of God, who John defines as God in John 1:1, declares in Matthew 23:34, "Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and [some] of them ye shall kill and crucify; and [some] of them
shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute [them] from city to city:"
Jesus is declaring that He has the authority to send prophets. Only God has the authority to send prophets. They didn't want to stone Him for blasphemy for nothing.
azionwarriorbride 1 month ago
@azionwarriorbride So you still do not have what I think its odd, if it is the most important thing to do its believe Jesus is God, why when he came back for 40 days did we never have a single quote that I am God though, you have people who than take a statement that he will send prophets, by a person who is reading into something that Jesus said, by you and others, which if a preacher states the same verse you grasp he is just quoting scripture but when Jesus does it, a statement of divinity?
ASexyChef 1 month ago

We are not stoning you for any of these, but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God." John 10:27-33
azionwarriorbride 1 month ago
@azionwarriorbride You can quote john this or that, but you always have to read the full context of the bible to try to understand it... My one question and statement always remain the same, that is Jesus never just says I am God, and so if its the most important thing, the thing you must believe for salvation than why would Jesus himself not just state that? Yup if you read into his writing and line them up just right it seems like a claim but you ignore the next passage typically doing so.
ASexyChef 3 weeks ago
@ASexyChef and @HeroOfChristArchives - Read Revelation 1:8 and 1:17 together as context. God is "A" and "Z", and when Jesus says "I am the First and the Last" He is claiming to be God, and these scriptures are the Biblical evidence of it. The only way you can deny that is to say that Jesus did not really manifiest Himself to John, and so invalidate the Book of Revelation as a book of the canon. He was in His glorified form, not any less real than when He was in His earthly ministry.
randwolfray 3 weeks ago
@randwolfray So instead of Jesus just coming out and Saying what the church claims, that Jesus is God and to must believe that to have salvation, no once again nope he would never just state that even his 40 days after his resurrection, you have to take passages here and there to grasp it, WHY WOULD IF THAT IS WHAT IS SALVATION WHY is he not just saying I am God than, why is he the Son, or God his Father ALWAYS, why does he say to his followers than too God is their father, and not I am he is
ASexyChef 3 weeks ago
@randwolfray Revelation, is a very complex read, were you have to than go into readling allot of experts on it, because there is allot of it, that has claims to be written at later times, or added subtexts put in, that is also with the gospel itself, but Jesus beings the Church which spreads the world too the world and he will than come at the end of days, so he is the First to start that movement and he will be there at the end it could just mean that too, not he is claiming to be God!!!
ASexyChef 3 weeks ago
@randwolfray I am sorry but it makes not SENSE what so ever, if the only way to have Salvation is the concept Jesus is God, why would Jesus not just state that EVER, you have to take a sentence out of context and put it up and state clearly this proves it, and if not that bit than lets take this saying, with this one, and lets cherry pick some sayings and than just read them all up in a line which proves something Jesus never says! He never says I AM GOD, EVER THATS A FACT!
ASexyChef 3 weeks ago
@ASexyChef How could the flesh body be God?You would have to mean the Subsystem Mind being "replaced" by God "himself" as opposed to a "regular" human soul/spirit.
None can know the father, lest by the son...So although the Ego "Jesus" was not God,it was his vessel....Makes sense to me if one is even Deistic for potentialitys of any concept of God being able to literally manifest such a History of events.Rational leaders have done "crazier" things as of yet.
ParaPsyopticNerve 2 weeks ago
@ParaPsyopticNerve The old testament makes it clear there is one God, only with paul do you have the concept start to be created of the trinity. Yet if you go that Jesus is God and that is the only way to salvation, it than becomes odd that Jesus never states he is God, the only way you have the concept is to take what Jesus says out of context and cherry pick other sayings, and line them up so it appears as if he is saying that, yet if Jesus is God why did he never state I am God?
ASexyChef 2 weeks ago
@ASexyChef Jesus the fleshly man(body/ego) was not God,it was Gods Avatar,so how could Jesus the man say he is God,when he is not?
If he was not God incarnate, than any random idiots could be chosen to convey a communication, the fact he died accordingly to the scriptures and of course historical strength/devotion implys comparitively that it was God,lol, just crazy enough to be ture;-)
ParaPsyopticNerve 2 weeks ago
@ParaPsyopticNerve When does Jesus state he is God's avatar than, and I do not think Jesus would be perfect in the sense that God is perfect but I think he would be the perfect person. What all people could attempt to aspire too, see as God is beyond the understanding as man. The issue with the claim of Jesus divinity is one, he never states that ever. So if the concept is that is what one must believe why would he just state that ever? The more we discover earlier sources for the bible
ASexyChef 2 weeks ago
@ParaPsyopticNerve You do have quotes like the one you mention, but you have to read it in the context of what he was saying. Jesus was teaching people their relation to God, he did state he is the son of God, yet he than almost always tells those around him they are children of God, or when referring to God his father he than relates God is their followers aswell, so than you ask yourself who is Jesus. He is the Son of God yet he makes it clear we are all spiritual children of God.
ASexyChef 2 weeks ago
@ASexyChef Only begotten Son,not even Angels are his direct children,Yes Father metaphorically were all one=equal in his "eyes".In reality "the son" is part of the trinity effect,Fire:1.Lights,2Warms,3.Burns....And thats just using these dimensions...
ParaPsyopticNerve 2 weeks ago
@ParaPsyopticNerve Take the discovery of the Codex for example, there are books that are translated where Jesus is the servant of God not even state as the Son of God in them there is also other texts found that date to an earlier date, one that is said to be the bible created by Jesus family that in it have Jesus as clearly state as a man and having no divinity. But even without those you have the complexing aspect I first stated that being even when he came back he never state he was God ever
ASexyChef 2 weeks ago
@ASexyChef You could play it like Apollyonius,Rasputin or any other "leader",but its too coincidental that surviving its Statism by a certain General and the Vatican to have some "mere man" die for our sins via incarnation of direct input in place of a soul/spirit.
ParaPsyopticNerve 1 week ago
@ParaPsyopticNerve Than Jesus also refers to himself as the Message, who became flesh too, he not like other men, he comes from a Virgin, he is the messiah, after his death its the bible, its the good news its the word that must be spread, and jesus spreads a message of love, kindness doing good, loving even your enemy, etc. Yet not during his life does Jesus ever state he is God, even the 40 days after his death he never states I am God, yet the trinity is taught as the way to salvation.
ASexyChef 2 weeks ago
@ParaPsyopticNerve So if the trinity the concept that Jesus is God is the only way to have salvation, if that is the most important thing, why never do you read ever in any of the new testament Jesus declare he is God, why does Jesus not state that is salvation, you have a saying such as its easier for a camel to go threw the eye of a needle than a rich man to get into heaven, why is that if today a rich man can get into heaven if he believes Jesus is God, how does that make sense?
ASexyChef 2 weeks ago
@ParaPsyopticNerve So who is Jesus, he clearly is the Messiah, he clearly is born of a woman so he is Mortal because God can not be born, he teaches things that go against the Jewish faith of the time, salvation was sacrificing to the temple, yet Jesus teaches being kind, doing good things is more important, so to me who is Jesus, he is the one perfect man, he is the example of what God wants humanity to be, what we humans can be, we can not be like God, but we can be like Jesus, he the example.
ASexyChef 2 weeks ago
@ASexyChef Replace a normal human soul with Gods direct essence and youll get it.
Also,MAN CANNOT BE PERFECT,its literally impossible Physically speaking,Metaphorically and in Spiritual Maturity can we defeat death and be born again back into Spiritual Body's.
ParaPsyopticNerve 2 weeks ago
@ParaPsyopticNerve So if Jesus is the example than clearly only threw knowing Jesus can you get into his fathers house, because only threw knowing what we are supposed to be, only threw knowing the example of how we are to be, how we should act, treat each other do we know how God wants us to be, and only threw being what God wants us to be can we go into heaven. Jesus comes back to prove that God does give ever lasting life, that we all can obtain that threw his guidance, threw his example.
ASexyChef 2 weeks ago
@randwolfray I grasp what your talking about, yes he does say it one way in one translation that looks more like the evidence your looking for, but other translations he says it slightly different, than you have you scholars who than debate if it was part of the original or if its an addition, because allot of the New Testament scholars who are christian will point out clear areas they know were added at later dates yet still part of standard translations today. Etc, etc, etc....
ASexyChef 3 weeks ago
@randwolfray You not replied at all, I still pose one revelations is not a source to US because its first a prophetic dream, no one really knows who wrote it, its accredited to John but its still not a claim by Jesus himself of his divinity. If it was John it was during his finally day & he is foreseeing the future, so my original question still stands my friend, which is if the way to salvation is to believe Jesus is Divine why does Jesus not state that, you site a dream as proof.
ASexyChef 2 weeks ago
@ASexyChef - Jesus was the Word of God from the beginning, the creator of all things, "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made (the Word, Jesus)."
azionwarriorbride 1 month ago
@ASexyChef - "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead." Colossians 1:15-18
azionwarriorbride 1 month ago
@chestveeg Your premise sadly fails because you have more than 500 people claiming to see a UFO, and that is tech what you have is a claim of more than 500 people seeing Jesus, so you do not need an abduction because all you have is a claim of a viewing not an interaction with 500 people like he baptism them, the issue with paul though is he never meet Jesus, he had some odd conversion were he went blind.
ASexyChef 1 month ago
In Paul's letter to the Corinthians he says that Jesus was seen resurrected by the twelve and 500 people. He even at one point says if you don't believe me ask the eyewitnesses. So apparently the resurrection is something that could have been verified by a lot of people within the lifetime of the apostles.
chestveeg 1 month ago
@chestveeg
HeroOfChristArchives 1 month ago
@chestveeg You do grasp you fully ignore the whole point of skeptics right? Because its fact that the is no first hand accounts, you have at the best second hand writing maybe based off of first hand accounts, thats just the facts, but its clear you have copies, of copies if they do come from first hand accounts for hundreds of years. So you write the new testament out, by hand, and have a friend translate that for you who not good at english and translate it back from his lang, etc!
ASexyChef 1 month ago
@chestveeg So when you have that account of 500 you must be fully logical with it, because its a story if its from the mouth of apostle is still from years later, and so what do you do with the fact that Luck, Mark, John, Paul all have difference threw out them! From who visits the baby Jesus, to who found the tomb at the resurrection, and what they found there, its simple take out your bible and read each start at the beginning of each separate one, page by page, and see the difference in each
ASexyChef 1 month ago
@chestveeg So the point is, if the New Testament can not even get the facts of who found the tomb and what they found in each, how can you than claim for sure that the account of 500 to be accurate, cause just take that one part when they find the tomb and tell me who found it, and what they found, when you read the accounts side by side, cause they do not even agree about that, or take Jesus on the Cross, how long did it take him to die, and what did he say, and who was there at the cross?
ASexyChef 1 month ago
@chestveeg But what you have to do, is read them side by side of the same accounts, and grasp that there is a huge difference which makes sense, when they are an account by a person who was there, decades after the fact, and than copied for a few hundred years and its like that game were you whisper a sentence in the ear of a friend and onto the next and than have the last person say what it was supposed to be, and it makes sense there are so many differences with them.

Isaiah 40:3 speaks about johns relation to Jesus and it was written 800 before Christ birth. The gospels didn't need to explain any of it. No way was Jesus a student of John the baptist. .
