Wow, only 1 GB of RAM? Upgrade that ASAP, it's dirt cheap and you'll notice a HUGE difference. Even 2 GB is barely cutting it these days.

@CodzKilla415 The 5450 isn't a bad card, but not great for gaming. If your motherboard has 2 PCI-e slots, look into crossfire x, and you could use the 4670 and 5450 for better performance, or you could use the 4670 for gaming, and 5450 for regular web surfing, viewing images and whatnot. But over all the 4670 is a way better card than the 5450. The 5450 gets 9.8 fps on high settings with a 1280 x 1024 resolution while the 4670 gets 28 fps with the same resolution.. 22 fps with 4x xAA..

@Kerlan Try setting your aspect ratio to 16:9 in game, if you have this problem in windows aswell you need to update your graphics drivers. :)

@LightningX151 Well, the HD4850 is still in the game, but today you can get better cards for the value. I don't know if the 5670 is better, but I would think it is.

Wich games you can play also depends on your other hardware. I can play games like Cod4, CoD MW2, Mass Effect, Left for Dead 2 on very high settings and Crysis runs pretty smooth aswell depending on your resolution.

As for the comment about getting black dots and bad graphics.. take it off optimized settings then.. jesus christ..

4850 is a 10.1 compatible card.. the 250 is a DX10 card.. so, if anything.. the 4850 would have better graphics (yes less preformance) but not in GTA4.. as the game is a CPU intensive game.

Of course the graphocs card makes difference, but if you have a slow CPU and a ngood graphics card, the game will be slow even though you have everything set on lowest. That is what happened to me with the Athlon X2 4600+, my FPS wouldn't go over 30 even on lowest settings, but on hgh, I got about the same FPS. ^^

I do but when I go to resource manager very little actually goes to the game, that is what I mean. I want to dedicate more towards the game. grand theft auto Pc relies more on CPU than GFX bro because your GFX card just shows you whats in the view of your HUD but whats not in your HUD still has to keep running behind you even when your not looking and sice GTA is like a whole freakin world it requires alot of processing, either get a dual core and overclock it or buy a quad core

4850 is cool m8 I myself switch from ati to asus gtx 275 with 896 mb because the support for drivers is somewhat better for games mostly. Altough I must say the nvidia is getting a bit hot sometime but its running ok and can run all new games full but me running windows 7 ultimate 64 the programs that have to adjust the cooling dont work propper so thats a bummer. I use MSI afterburner to compensate and it works fine now. you can see a HD vid I posted recorded with that system

It looks like your running capped @ 60FPS.. if you go into console and type cg_maxFPS *** it will unlock to whatever # you type. Your Processor is also probably bottlenecking gfx performance.

The cpu is bottlenecking the 4850.Also the 1 gb of ram is too small.If you try, for example, to run gta4 you will be diissapointed.Good video anyway.
